She's trying to be a queer Sesame Street and failing. What makes Sesame Street great is that they're not condescending or preachy even when talking about really hard topics like death, a military parent being deployed, or even having a parent in prison. It's engaging, simple, and still assures kids that everything is gonna be okay.

Lindsay talks down to kids like they're stupid and still manages to make things way too complicated and simultaneously boring. Some dumpy looking girl sitting in one spot prattling on is boring as fuck. No kid is gonna watch that nor are these complicated things made understandable to kids. Adults have problems figuring out the maze that is Tumblr LGBT nonsense, a toddler has no chance.

I don't think she's a pedo. I do think she's a spoiled privileged moron that doesn't understand children or life outside her cushy bubble. She genuinely seems to think she's doing something important because her stupid liberal arts gender performance friends were into it. Theatre kids at liberal arts college are weird as fuck.

Plus, we can all say they were at least somewhat subtle with the gay stuff.

It literally took them 50 years to confirm these two were gay.

I think Lindsay does this for herself before anyone else. She's mentioned before how she wished there was a genderqueer education show when she was growing up and not feeling right in the head. Queer Kids Stuff is her own wish-fulfillment fantasy. She can play back the episodes and imagine she's telling her younger self it will all be okay.

But because of narcissism or some other mental illness, she thinks everyone else's children need to hear it too. Gender dysphoria in three-year-olds is such a widespread problem she has to get the message out to them, not realizing that she's coming off creepy and driving so many away from the Left.

They aren't gay.

LGBETC, of course, say they are in fact gay no matter what the actual creators of the characters say, just like any random ordniary fandom or shipper.

I would probably add that there's an additional motivation for this beyond virtue signaling. Amer strikes me as the person that wants to be the first one to do this.

That is not exclusive to Lindsay. Most progressives are the same. They'er convinced they're the ones who came up with the concept of equal rights and diversity. Why you think they love Captain Marvel so much? She's the first comic character to have her own movie. No, she's the first female character ever. No, wait, she's the first woman ever drawn... no... the first woman ever. And they did that! They invented women!

Anyone can get hate comments and videos on YouTube. I don’t know why Lindsay thinks she’s so special. She doesn’t deserve special treatment for being LGBT. Has she ever considered that the reason her channel doesn’t earn as much money is because it sucks? I can’t sit through a whole episode without getting bored. A little kid would probably zone out even faster.

They only have to prove how everybody has hate comments. Even music videos made for babies have a lots of downvotes for some reason.

In all, Queer Kid Stuff has uploaded more than 100 videos, of which Defendants have only allowed 94 to remain accessible to viewers; the channel has more than 2 million views and more than 15,000 subscribers. Queer Kid Stuff’s growth has been substantially stymied by Defendants’ selected, discriminatory, anticompetitive and unlawful use of its content regulation and monetization policies and practices, and has generated less than $500 per year.

This crazy cunt has 15,000 subs and thinks she should have gotten more than $500 a year from her garbage channel? Because the money she gets from e-begging and daddy's trust fund isn't enough?

Oh no! YouTube blocked a handful of videos (which probably violated their guidelines), so this obviously means YT hates the gays! Time to sue!

ProTip, Lindsey: Your channel isn't growing because 3 year olds are too young to understand sex, be it between a man and a woman or two dudes or two chicks. I am all for sex education, but at least fucking wait until they are twelve, when they're old enough to understand it due to the onset of puberty. Also, because you are no fucking LeVar Burton or Fred Rogers and are boring as hell.

Don't take my first comment too seriously, it was a bit more tongue in cheek. TBH, they probably just wanted to start a whole internet sensation by stating they were gay. Basically to start all the "O MAI GAWD I FKN NEW THY WRE FAGGOTZ!" comments.

I love this message she supposedly got from a parent:
“My 7 year old son (who self-identifies as queer) is home from school today. . . We love your channel . . . I wanted to reach out because even though we watch your videos, I have a strict policy against reading YouTube comments. YouTube suggested a bunch of hateful anti-queer videos in response to our watching yours, and as I went through the list to tell YouTube I am not interested in any of these, I ended up reading some of the comments. How disheartening. Talk about homophobia. I am literally crying right now at some of these and am quite glad my son is in the other room, since I’m not sure I’m emotionally up to explain it to him right now. . . .”

The other one is amusing too:
I’m really glad that I ran into your channel today, as I found the videos to be easy enough for my 5 year old to enjoy and understand the content. This really is a godsend for me, a trans demi girl who has major problems with panic attacks just trying to address the subject with them.

Hold on, she's a genderqueer non-binary now? Or is she just using that to accentuate herself as special and progressive (not that there's a real difference.)
She's the only one in the lawsuit referred to by "Mx." so it's not something they did for everyone. Also I had missed this part:
Lindsay Amer is an individual who resides in Maine. Because of harassment and threats they have received, Mx. Amer should be contacted through their attorneys of record.

awhile back (several months ago) in a video she decided she's non-binary now. Which makes no fucking sense. I think she did it just so she could get people to call her "Mix Amer" and refer to her as "they" for the virtue signal points. which is hilarious given she previously self-identified as lesbian, but if she's non-binary that means she isn't strictly a lesbian anymore...because lesbian means attracted to the same Gender now. So now she's .... whatever word they still need to make up for non-binaries who are attracted to women. Or something.

There is an interview with her where the first thing she's asked is her pronouns and she syas "they/them".

I wonder if these people realises how incredibly narcissist it sounds. (nah, of course they don't). It's pretty much like a noble person asking the plebs to refer to them by their rightful title.

"Miss...?"

"No, Miss: it's COUNTESS LINDSAY AMER".

Reminds me of that crazy feminist doctor that demanded people to always talk to her by calling her "doctor".

It's trendy for younger butch lesbians raised on Tumblr or Twitter to use "he" or "they" while still identifying as lesbians. It's essentially nothing more than a superficial fashion statement, but some of them really want to believe that being butch lets them in the special tranny club. Lindsay is probably one of those people trying to have her cake and eat it too.

She has absolutely no idea how to convey messages to children. She consulted no one. She lacks the understanding that three-year-olds need material presented to them in a certain way. In Amer's dumbshit brain, toddlers are supposed to immediately comprehend every multi-syllabic buzzword she vomits and them because her set is decorated like an infantilization fetish video.

I don't believe either would leave the kids with fond memories.

Ellis is upbeat, chipper and quirky when she arrives. She puts in a Disney movie or some Don Bluth relic. She ad-libs riffs as the videos goes on and the kids get a kick out of that. But as the night continues, she gets more somber, less joyful. Her happiness fades every time she sips from that big thermos she brought. Half an hour before the parents get home, she's mumbling incoherently about Mara Wilson and "Why are they botherum me over my fuggin part of the document?" That's after the weird hooded guy shuffles in and falls asleep on the couch.

Amer? Jesus Christ. The kids won't get that ukulele out of their heads for months. Oh, but that's not the worst part. Wait 'till mom is putting away laundry.

"How'd your panties get so organized?"
"The singing boy lady helped me."
"...What?"
"Oh, she also said you need to be buying me boxer shorts. You're picking my gender."

This isn't Lindsay Amer in this meme, but it could easy be her boyfriend. Er, itfriend? Personfriend?

Yes. Being lesbian isn't queer enough.
Ya gotta admit that she's very passable as non-binary.

Honestly it seemed to be more of reaction to trying teach and make sense of queer stuff. As much as her show all around is awful, it’s also clear that quite amount effort and passion goes into it. There is decorating, teddy, animation, music and guests just name few aspects that need more planning than average youtube webcam video. Linsey has to do research and script writing for the episodes. As she says there aren’t many resources for talking about these things to very young kids and even she knows that kids won’t automatically understand tumblr talk. So she has to think how to explain queer and gender theory to kids but those aren’t that consistent or make much sense beyond feeling nice. So if boys and girls can do anything and dress anyway they want but also gender nonconforming is a clear sign of being transgender. Those ideas don’t go together very well and I think while trying to figure how to explain something like that kids, it put her into hard place. Calling out trannies is SJW no-no but other hand how to explain herself liking masculine stuff not making her trans but being explanation for somebody else being trans. So went trans to solve this paradox while avoiding seen as awful terf.

I feel like I've mentioned it before but she once (and I'm pretty sure that's a literal once) said that QKS was a "kids show for adults"

I really don't know what that means, but I'm fairly certain it goes pretty well with the infantilization of these groups.

Nah, they identify "out" of being butch because being butch is super very not cool. A butch lesbian is cis scum. A non-binary is woke. But if you're following along, these are exactly the same thing to any street observer. The following comment explains why really well.

You can't be a masculine woman or a feminine male because it ruins the narrative. Not just for kids but for adults too. That's why it's not cool. You get grown adult AGPs crying about how come butch lesbians get to be seen as lesbians even though they're so masculine but they can't and other such bullshit. You don't hear as much from trans people about femmy gay dudes but mostly because the ftms are not as insane and demanding in general towards gay men as the mtfs are towards the lesbian community. They try at times but they don't get away with it.

Mx. Amer"
The only people who use "Mx." unironically are fat unattractive or plain girls who dress like frumpy lesbians trying to be quirky.

And I think I figured out what specifically bothers me about her versus Mr. Rogers and Sesame Street. The latter two talk to kids like a friend, Lindsay talks to kids like a teacher.
