Basically yeah. There's no need to bring in politics or that creepy "activism" video. LGBT people can be all over the political spectrum, and I bet there are plenty of faggot couples who love their guns and vote for Trump, while also raising kids.

I came from an "overwhelmingly straight" family, who like most people are mostly indifferent toward LGBT, but supportive of those they know. Looking at wrecks like Lindsay and others from liberal families, sometimes I think suppport which amounts to "you're our kid and we love ya, but don't embarrass us" is better in the longrun than "YOU'RE PERFECT NO MATTER WHAT"

I remember watching Disney movies and not fully understanding why I identified with Aladdin instead of Jasmine, Simba instead of Nala, and Peter instead of Wendy. They were the ones who had the adventures, who saved the day, who were special. They were also the ones who got the girl.

Another example of "lefties can't meme". EVERYONE gets told to commit suicide/drink bleach. I once made a Transformers "Fanimation" which only got a couple of hundred views, and even then a comment said "whoever made this should drink bleach"

I'm so super late on this but what does preferring one Disney character over another has to do with gender? Wendy was an annoying cunt and the best thing about Aladdin was the Genie. So unnecessary to ruin kids enjoying films with gender crap.

Anyway, I'm happy Lindsay reached her goal. Two more seasons of child grooming and evidence for the FBI. It's a shame you can't see the backers since I'm quite convinced Lindsay called her mommy and daddy along with other upper middle class family members to donate.

I think it might not be that she doesn't understand money, more that she's inept in all aspects of production, including money and how it's spent.

To make a show like hers, you could cobble something acceptable together from cheap department stores using "hobby money", not counting the camera and mic. If I was to make a youtube show which is basically sitting there talking, no way would I ask for anything like ten grand, let alone nearly twice that.

The fact that she's almost incessantly panned, to the extent where she "had to" disable comments and ratings, and you could count on your hands the amount of positive articles, all just shows a fucking gumption that she's asking for donations at all.
 
Apologies in advance if I just reiterate what has already been said. I watched a few of their videos and first, the name itself. 'Queer Kid Stuff'. A lot of people in the LGBT community are uncomfortable with being referred to as 'queer' and there are big disagreements on its casual usage, so Lindsay already failed there. Also, Lindsay talks about a lot of concepts that will go over kids' heads or just plain ol' confuse them. I didn't totally agree with shoe0nhead's video, but she made valid points about how saying 'love' will confuse kids, and how they could be taught using examples of other people's gender/sexuality. The target audience are just too young to grasp some of what's being said.
