So I was talking to my aunt, who does child care in the city, about this after I watched a couple rebuttals to QKS the night before. She's the type who takes suspected abuse very seriously and was upset at the idea of this channel. When I mentioned it was targeted to kids as young as 3, she couldn't believe it.
 
Fuck it I got a camera I have stuffed animals I'm going to start my own toddler channel where I teach children economics. First episode I'm going to teach comparative advantage where Mr.Penguin wants to raise money with his friend Mr.Octopus selling lemonade.

Due to Mr.Octopus having so many arms he's amazing at making lots of drinks and he's super friendly so he's great at talking to the customers. Mr.Penguin though is clumsy with his flipper wings and is a little shy.

Both Mr.Octopus and Mr.Penguin want to raise $60 to buy a new video game but Mr.Octopus can't do all the work so how can these friends maximize output and profits children?

Let's say in 1 hour Mr.Octopus can either make 12 cups of lemonade or talk to 12 customers. Mr.Penguin can make 3 cups of lemonade or talk to 6 customers. Who should do what?

Children due to something we economists call comparative advantage we can determine who would be better for each job by looking at what each person's opportunity cost would be when they either spend an hour making drinks or drawing in customers.

Mr.Octopus when he spends time making one cup of lemonade he gives up the time to talk to one customer. Mr.Penguin though when he talks to a customer it takes as much time as making only half a cup of lemonade.

So children if Mr.Octopus and Mr.Penguin want to maximize profits Mr.Octopus would make the drinks and Mr.Penguin would run the stand.

TL;DR even though these would be much more useful skills and knowledge to teach young toddler it's pointless when your target demographic still gets blue and black mixed up.
