So Scar, Hades, etc were negative gay stereotypes? I must have missed that. And is she literally saying that "muh representation" is only ok if the characters has no flaws... otherwise it's a negative portrayal that makes the affected group look "evil"?

Hades was probably no more gay than all the rest of the ancient greeks., and they fucked a lot kids, so you'd have thought Lindsay would be all over that. Scar is basically Claudius from Hamlet, and there have been a whole bunch of gay and sexuality focused readings of Shakespeare. Some of them make sense, many more of them are just flimsy bullshit waffling. I'm guessing they took a reading that argues Claudius a homo, and then just transposed the overall argument onto the lion king, ignoring the details and nuance, because Scar=Claudius, Claudius=gay, therefore Scar=gay, even though the gayest things he did were speaking in a british accent and being a devious bitch.
If she wants more gay storylines then she should fucking well write them herself.
Pulling this basic "art is supposed to reflect us" bullshit and then expecting someone else to do all the work in reflecting her. The entitlement is just mindblowing.
