Found an article on Business Insider about how "neo-Nazis" harrassed her.
I'm also disgusted by the fact the first episode was uploaded on my birthday...
My personal favourite section of her dumb article was when gave herself tips on how to "stay sane".
I think the title of the video explains why you were getting mean tweets Lindsay.Lindsay Amer said:On June 23, 2016, someone posted my LGBTQ+ YouTube video for kids to a Neo-Nazi online publication. The headline read, “Sick Dyke Creates Educational Program to Brainwash Children Into the Homosexual Lifestyle.”
I woke up to a few more mean tweets than usual that morning, not knowing why."
She's been getting queer with kids for three years. That's terrifying.Lindsay Amer said:I’ve made mostly queer work for young children for about three years now, and that makes some people angry.
Keep in mind that these teachers are professionals who have been trained to educate and interact with children, so I think their comments are worth listening to. But Lindsay, rather than accepting the criticism and using it to her advantage, decided to group them with the super mean neo-Nazis.Lindsay Amer said:Someone responded to a teacher survey we sent out about the show (a play Lindsay directed where a boy likes to dress as a girl) calling the material “inappropriate” and “disrespectful.”
Well done to all those publications who promoted sexualising kids. Fuck you.Lindsay Amer said:

Uh huhLindsay Amer said:Fight hate with love and stay gracious. In my experience, I’ve been able to best express myself best through creative outlets; and it feels good and it’s also fun!
