First LiS was good.
Not zOMG great but it was an enjoyable game with a very memorable soundtrack.

They should have left it at that tho.

Agreed. Small scale in general seems better, since LiS 1 fell apart when they tried to have a grand finale for the entire thing and Max's power and it just kind of landed on its face. These games are about grounded melodrama first and foremost and work much better when that's focused on.

Plus D&D Dyke is back and she was a fun character.
That chick who plays Steph is a shitty twitch streamer, "Katy Bentz" 8783b77ce4287ae18b62ff7363eb2323.jpg

She's almost as bad as Dsp at games and frequently has mental health breakdowns where she'll quit streaming for a month or more. Dumb as fucking dogshit.
Like going to do a irl stream and forgetting to pack a charger or extra batteries multiple times. I think she would literally eat squirrel shit off the sidewalk if she lost anymore brain cells.
So, she's perfect for this fanbase.

Ok cool. I'm still probably playing the game, though.

I'll be listening to Slayer and holding my dick, spreading toxic cishet masculinity playing games that require actual skills to play.

Take a dive into anybody who voices for Dontnod woke games, and also streams, you may find milk there. Gallons.
Just sayin'

The best character of Tell Me Why is Tessa who selflessly attempted to save the poor kids from the abusive depressed drug whore of a mother, who made the kids steal from her shop despite that Tessa offered her a job multiple times and the kids' father was Tessa's own husband and she was aware of him cheating with her best friend but still kept supporting her and the kids??? And she also gave a job to the most stereotypical queer faggot in town despite her being a strict catholic. But just because she attempted take away a confused child who may not even have been trans from an irresponsible mother who tried to kill herself and the kids, Tessa is labelled as a bigot.
Justice for Tessa!

This whole "being able to manipulate emotions" ability is... I don't know, it doesn't sit right with me.

Like, it's one thing to incorrectly show time-travel, but it's another to take a game that's already supposed to be emotionally-charged and introduce a character whose whole thing is "Well what if you DIDN'T feel that way?". I dunno, maybe I'm thinking of, like, traumatic or life-altering moods, not light shit like someone's irritation towards being caught in traffic.

If she gets "infected" by other peoples' attitudes, does the person who doesn't feel the way they did wonder why she's being a bitch for no reason now? Do they retain their memories of why they felt the way they did before the feeling magically disappeared? I have questions, Dontnod

I have a feeling this'll be as well explained as the twins in Tell me Why having this power to remember shit but the ending literally hinges on one of them remembering their tragic past wrong.

You're giving way, way, way too much credit to how much Dontnod is thinking on this. Tell Me Why their power was literally memory, except they didn't actually remember. Chances are the 'power' this person will have is being a spazz.

Sorry dude, I'm high as fuck right now so the thoughts just spilled out.

Or her power is being an emotional vampire, which is a staple for their games nowadays. I think Twin Mirror is the only one that didn't have one and no one played it because it's about the dreaded straight white male.

Don't have to apologize, it's fine.

See that would be vaguely interesting but dontnod puts as little thought into how their stuff works as possible before open palm slamming whatever ham-handed topic they think will sell copies into their game.

The whole her being able to manipulate other people's emotions sounds creepy af.
Even in the first LiS Max also had to abuse her powers to violate other people's privacy "for the good cause" but at least there were actual stakes and live-or-die situations...

I'm calling it that you can use it on your bf/gf for sex.

LiS had the other Max flatout call you a bitch for using it to make people like you.

welp somebody leaked the ending
It's been an old white guy all along, what a shock!
And the narrative is clearly based towards Steph because the straight option is the son of a guy who killed your dad. What a snooze fest
edit: The video's been removed, sorry
