Several people are suggesting that Null open a Patreon, but I don't think that would work. They'd most likely cave to complaints and shut it down like they did with Hotwheels/8chan back at the end of 2014.

Anyway, it's good to be back :cool:

Patreon is completely untrustworthy to the likes of us. Maybe if we all chopped off our cocks and stole money from people, we'd be okay, but telling the truth offends their morals.

I note that Based Sam is threatening a lolsuit against you, at least according to comments on his blog. I'd be curious to see if that actually materialised, because as far as I know, it's not a cause of action in the UK to point and laugh at people's track record of idiocy.
 
If we had a way to force a 50 cent (USD) per month donation by even 10,000 users that would more than cover the costs needed.

It's not even worth explaining why his idea is dumb as shit. For every reason which is immediately obvious, there's 4 more reasons that are less so but equally funny. In short it's more nonsense. He hasn't learned a fucking thing.

As much as I hate to suggest this kind of SA shit, some serious consideration should be given to stuff like donations to change people's avatars, add dumb titles to them, etc. and similarly, donations to change them back. And there should definitely be some way to encourage easy, simple microdonations of that kind.

Also, as much as I hate to suggest anything like this, look at Free Republic's history of horrible freepathons to raise money. I'm not suggesting getting THAT pathetic, but this is a site that has essentially existed on donations for decades. There are a number of sites that have existed for a long, long time entirely on user donations.

Another suggestion would be tiers of donations that give added schwag to the account, like visible bling (which you can choose not to display if you aren't a complete faggot or amplify if you are).
 
Patreon is run by a bunch of cucks, it would definitely get taken down.

I was just thinking about this today.
People like vordak and others are never happy, they can't only have the site down, they need to harass the families of anyone who dares to laugh at them. They want everyone related to them incarcerated, the thing is their embarrassing shit is out there and they can't take it back so at this point their desperate to do anything to make themselves feel better but it's never gonna be enough because they essentially screwed themselves over with their own actions of making themselves a public freak show
