I just assumed femboy was just the new twink because every is a twink now. I rember 180+ hairy dudes calling themselves twinks. It was basically a word that lost all meaning.

I mean femboy is going the same way the the endless encroachment of progressivism.

That's like all labels in the community though, you get 35 year olds calling themselves hot twinks or 24 year old tops calling themselves "daddys" etc.
 
It looks like the less appetizing colors they changed Tide Pods to so you're less inclined to eat them.

Only one can (rarely as always with faggots) be very kind and sweet and whatnot without the ulterior motives a troon would have. I only met two and they only wore dresses for the fuck of it I guess, they were themselves entirely and seemed cool. One may have been a psychopath adjacent though, in the non-violent way. Troons deny its their fetish and genuinely delude themselves into massacring their bodies. Trannies have no real personality, although actual femboys have been pretty much as rare as normal fags.

Maybe I’m showing my age but does femboy mean something different today? I always took it as just being an effeminate guy. Not necessarily into putting on dresses and shit and having one foot already in the tranny grave, but more about being that stereotypical gay guy in media: lispy queeny voice, most friends are girls, very involved in stereotypically girly hobbies and interests and not so much into stereotypically masculine ones. Not much different than a twink, right?

It's a lot different today, I would say. To be honest, it's more of an online/Gen Z phenomenon. I would say the effeminate gay guys still largely exist but they don't really stand out as their own "category" anymore.

Personally, all I know is as soon as a guy starts wearing fake nails and female clothing I get the ick, but whatever floats your boat I suppose.

I think being a twink is more about body type or appearance than what they are interested in. Femboys aren't even particularly feminine in their interests, either. Usually the stereotype is more them being into autistic hobbies like gaming, cosplay, or anime. When I think of some faggot into interior design, I don't imagine them as a femboy.

Trannies are different because a lot of them are transbian. And even for mtf trannies into other men, they make it into a lifestyle, whereas femboys just like crossdressing or cosplay and are submissive gay men. It's more casual for them. Femboys don't even really want to look like women so much as look more androgynous. Most femboys don't want to have breasts or get rid of their penis, and they don't cry in the shower if they don't pass a girl.

There's also a difference in attitude when it comes to dating other men. Trannies don't want to be seen as a man and get upset if you insinuate they are gay by having sex with a man, but I think femboys get off on "trapping" closeted men and regard themselves as gay.

The flag isn't exclusive to them -- it's supposedly meant to specifically represent gay men, as opposed to the rainbow flag, which represents the LGBT community as a whole. You only see it on Reddit because Redditors are the only people autistic enough about flags to give a shit.

Twink is a body type, whereas femboy is more of a mode of presentation, in theory. In practice it's a hivemind of very online teenagers who wear identical black pleated skirts with striped socks and are one Discord grooming session away from ordering HRT. I'd argue a lot of them aren't even gay.

Incidentally I have a similar attitude towards self-described femboys as I do furries. There's nothing morally wrong with the concept, but the label attracts so many freaks & sex pests that if someone identifies with it I'll mentally file them under "deranged" until proven otherwise. Just be a guy who prefers feminine clothes if you really have to. (Or an anthropomorphic animal enthusiast.)

Crossdressing as a man (as in, actually pulling it off) requires a certain amount of fashion sense. Enough fashion sense to know that it's nearly impossible to make a man look good in a dress. It's paradoxical really.

It is just gross to me. I don't know. Even ones that pass disgust me. I prefer women crossdressing as men. Makeup and fake nails and wigs make me want to puke. This is true on women, and even more so on men. I like masculinity.
