I was more in shock because this was at the time everyone thought he was dead and WTF is he doing at a convention. Took a picture of the booth and he said why don't you come take a picture with me instead. I didn't sperg out and bring up Retsupurae or anything and just asked what brought him to the convention; he was trying to shill/bring back NAViGATR in some sort of fashion from what I remember.

This might sound like it's coming out of left field, but does anyone have or know of any archived videos of Chip and Ironicus watching and riffing on old anime? I remember watching one of Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (the one where a army of dogs fights monster bears) and really enjoying some of the riffing, especially the "spinning dog missile, go!" one.

it was years and years ago but they had a whole anime theater series but they had to pull it from youtube for the usual reasons, so chip moved them to his site. they’re here: https://chipandironicus.com/videos/anime/

Nothing came up when I clicked the individual links, so I checked the source code; turns out they were hosted on Dailymotion, but the reference link no longer works. Oh well.
