Of course it's because we reached the point where Harry Potter is simultaneously Their Book and also Mein Kampf, and thus nobody can dare be a fan without sucking at least 30 girlcocks while stepping on a portrait of Rowling. It gets better, though, and by that I mean worse.


No idea what the message was, but the point stands: a mod got involved and bullied this guy into ending the LP, just because it promotes JK Rowling by existing and makes people want to play it, probably.

Tbf the guy has been on SA since early 2006 and has seen the slow tranny takeover of the LP board. It's probably a big part of his Internet life. What used to be about meticulous and witty walkthroughs of video games is now about girl cock and grooming. He's in denial and just want his old message board back. I feel bad for him.

While I do not agree with JK Rowlings personal statements and I do condone the dangerous impact she has had on the trans community, this is not the thread to discuss such things. This is a Let's Play thread of a silly game about a fictional boy wizard. Please do not derail the thread with how you feel about JK Rowling or how I'm not doing enough to highlight the harm JK Rowling is having on the world in my playthrough of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

should have been the final word on it, not “well the blowback is far worse than the enjoyment I or anyone else could anticipate deriving from this so fuck it”.

But, at the same time…they also need to read the last post on the first page, where some lunatic touts the merits of HP fanfic, including a troon as a selling point, and read the room. There are wide swaths of subjects and views which are unwelcome for discussion where he is posting, and things have been this way for many years. Again, sad, no doubt. But he doesn’t have to immerse himself in that sadness if he doesn’t want to, so. I hope he’s still getting something out of being part of that community still. But starting and then ejecting from a thread with less than twelve hours and less than three posts between those two points doesn’t point to a fun time on the Internet, to my mind.

I think Jon is a predator and would do it. I hope and pray that Emile gets pass this stuff. I think its likely and optimistic he doesnt get sucked in. His girlfriend might be enough to tell him no and that hes being manipulated.

Sure, but that shit didn't happen over night. Harry Potter has been verboten on SA for a very long time, along with every other "problematic" opinion a person could have on SA.

His mistake was posting there and/or participating there in the last 10, maybe 15 years.

What part of the "no" in "do no harm" don't people like this understand? Or more importantly, what do they do when the concept of what's evil and what's not gets turned around on them and the doctors start killing off trannies? (Redundant, I know.)

They see what surgeons convince trannies to pay to have done to them and just assume all doctors are like that.
If you are mutilating the mentally ill so you can avoid a vacation lakehouse, why not a little murder of people you disagree with politically?

Curious what Void's thoughts on doctors declining to operate on gunshot victims from the latest ghetto weekend, or refusing to administer narcan to OD'd hobos would be.
