It was noticeable when Brianna Wu boasted that Massachusetts had a high level of "diversity" when its white population is proportionally higher than the national average.

These sorts thrive on their own personal victim-hood. If you are a genuine victim or minority of any kind, at best you'll get a half-hearted display of insincere condolences, and at worst you'll get a major sperg-fest about how they are so much more persecuted by the world than the very people they claim to fight for. It's a special kind of cognitive dissonance that I've not seen until the formative years of social justice came about.

Well, it's also plain old racism and prejudice that they want to cover up by projecting. Black/trans/whatever people are beautiful people and deserve validity and respect, but... come on guys, we're having a fondue party with our friends tonight and I don't want DeShaun and Shanice there because then they might not get all of our "inside jokes". That sort of thing.

Tbh if you can't actually see what Voidburger is tweeting then don't bother with these updates. Those are just randoms on Twitter and nobody gives a shit what they think.
 
^I did enjoy seeing one of them actually admit in words that they want another french revolution though. But do they understand when they call for the rich to be beheaded, they're putting themselves on the line? Because "stay home and play video games on the internet while dad pays my rent because I will never need to worry about my resume being blank" is as good a definition of being rich as I can think of.

Anyway, Hillary would be firing missiles at Syria the exact same as Trump. When it comes to whether or not we should go to war in Syria, the people of the United States effectively did not have any say in November 2016. The only thing we voted on was which groups would be bitching on Twitter about it.
 
Slowbeef mentioning Patreon on an old Retsupurae podcast made me qurious about his own, so I looked it up.

He makes almost 1.5k a month for "Let's Plays, Streams and Romhack Projects. Etc."

Maybe that business degree that he's working towards isn't as worthless as I thought.

There's a theory that Generation Z and beyond will be more libertarian and fiscally conservative because they'll be raised in the aftermath of the Great Recession and have to endure the hypocritical excesses and censorship wrought by privileged millennials, so there's a non-zero chance that a kid born today will grow up to cyberbully their own parents on the Neo-Kiwi Farms of 20XX.

When was the last time he participated in a romhack or did a proper Let's Play?
 
Remember slowbeef lives in New York, that $1500/mo isn't gonna go too far.

Personally, if $1500/mo was enough for me to justify getting a second job, I'd just get a second job and skip this whole "I have to make the Internet happy" thing, but that's just me.
