He's probably basing his hatred for it on Shaun and Jen's video. Shaun and Jen do videos criticising anti-SJWs. They're pretty terrible, but we've already established in the thread that some other SA members are fans and it's the kind of thing they lap up so I wouldn't be surprised if kamoc was a fan.
 
Yeah I've seen video's unironically complaining about cinema sins as though they're supposed to be actual cricism. Weirdly they also seem to be SJW types


I actually engaged one of them with the fact it's obvious hyperbole and you're an idiot if you take it seriously. The response was so stupid I'm unsure if I was being Trolled. But I'm at a loss as to how someone could get buttmad over an obviously satircal youtube video.

1. All translations will be flawed (and apparently will be at least 1/3rd unfaithful to the original work), and
2. (S)he cannot tolerate any unfaithfulness to the original (even when it's for the sake of conveying the same idea/joke in a different language).
Goddamn.
 
These kind of jackasses are what makes it impossible to actually discuss shitty localization choices when those actually happen.

This Shirai Kuro character intrigues me, especially when they tell off an actual Japanese speaker for not hating translations like they should.
 
Getting back on topic, I updated Void's Lolcow Wiki article with most of the Imgur stuff (it has to be reviewed by the mods for it to show up publicly, though), and while looking through for research this stood out to me:

Incidentally, she's streaming right now (and has been for almost an hour). Probably not gonna be much of note (though I get the feeling she might mention us :optimistic:).
