I mean I guess this doesn't really prove that she's running out of money or anything. But yeah I agree with the poster above that Chip's job isn't stable and they're screwed if the industry keeps tanking. In the next couple of years an AI will probably replace video editing jobs anyway (and video generation jobs, and about a hundred other positions in the gaming industry)

He didn't though, he distanced himself from him a decade ago because of it. He just didn't feel the need to say anything till the guy faked his own death.

I think Remedy in particular is also in rough waters after Alan Wake 2 underperformed and the fact that their current project is a generic-looking L4D clone reinforces my feeling on that. It was also always peculiar to me that they were willing to import an American for a non-technical, non-executive position and all of these circumstances point to Chip being especially vulnerable.

After reencoding the audio I clicked to a random part of it to make sure it sounded ok - the random part I clicked on was Slowbeef talking about VoidBurger sending him DMs and the guy he's interviewing mentions that Dark Id's imaginary wife hates VoidBurger lmao
