Game's super popular right now and I'm curious if any kiwis are playing it right now.

It was also super difficult to find a video about Lethal Company that's not Youtube cancer. Thanks Worth A Buy.

This game is only fun with friends. played it for about 4 hours with some buddys singleplayer is ass and boring

the game is filled with la scary monsters and stupid game mechanics I will expect this game to be dead within a month

It's a really good game to play with friends. If you're a fan of those "Gamers turning into 5-Star voice actors when they're about to die" memes than this games worth a try with your friends. I feel like it only works with people you have chemistry with though. Wouldn't expect a game full of random people to be enjoyable. VOIP and proximity chat makes a lot of games funny though.

I feel like it will either end up like Among Us or Deep Rock Galactic. Either memed to shit for 1-2 months and then dies off or becomes a co-op cult classic like how DRG is.

It's pretty eh. Another in the recent trend of 4-5 player 'party' co-op games on Steam with relatively low dev budgets and somewhat interesting premises and mechanics. It's nothing special unless you make it special.

I plan on buying and playing it when my weekend arrives, it seems fun.

The difference between them is that Among Us isn't really a game. It's just a social experience. The actual gameplay is pretty much non-existent.

Deep Rock Galactic is a fun game at it's core, even without the social aspects, the social aspects just make it better.

I would put Lethal Company closer to the former than the latter.

It's a fun game with friends. Haven't tried pubbing but I assume it wouldn't be as enjoyable. The game can also be quite difficult depending on you and your friends combined luck. It's definitely within in the zone of challenging enough to be enjoyable though it could maybe use some tweaking.

It does have that streamer cattle feel. It's a kinda goofy, with just interesting enough mechanics and premise to hook you in but not really any content to satisfy for long. Hoping it does get some interesting updates in the future.

Played about 40 hours of this with friends, mods improve the game, and the newer Mask enemies definitely changed how you play. You can just use the good ol' online fix if you don't wanna buy the game.
Can't imagine being a 21 year old and becoming a millionaire on a stupid little project like this, the lowest sales estimate is around 4 million copies.
There's yet to be any gay, tranny or even furry shit added to the game (outside of mods), but time will tell.

One of the countless steam games I bought because my friends were playing it, played for a bit, and felt like I’d seen everything after an hour. Any gameplay loop that involves running away from things seems to have nearly zero replay value to me.
