When do people learn that trolling has nothing to do with racism, but only with exploiting every vulnerable thing. Also I think that ever since the ancient greeks it was always a good thing being able to laugh about yourself.

Excuse me friend how very dare you go about victim blaming

She may of literally gone up to the Lion, slapped it and wiggled her big ass tush at it - but it's still not her fault the Lion bit her.

The problem is she got cocky, she got away with her own bad behavior, but she also enabled twitter to take down one of their biggest problems. The problem is once you start pissing people off - the likelyhood of someone pissing in your cornflakes increases.

Also because of the above, people stop believing in Twitters own ability to punish users. As presently it's all a bit "some animals are more equal than others" over there.

That's not to say the hack is right or even a good idea.
 
I actually have an IRL Leslie Jones story
I saw her do standup comedy at the Comedy Store before she became widely known (like 2010, I think) and I thought she was funny. She had a great bit about how she likes when guys slap their big dicks on her face. Now I have seen acts with similar premises but she painted a very detailed picture of it and was really intense about it and really sold it. There were also 3 white girls near the front that wouldn't shut the fuck up and she utterly humiliated them. This trend continued with the next 5 comics until security (one small guy) finally kicked them out.
Don't really understand the spergfest going on around her at the moment or her sudden sensitivity, but then again there is a lot of shit I don't understand.

It's cuz Harambe had a chimpout. Even RLM said she was the best part of Ghostbusters and felt the most authentic as a character.

I'm sure she's a very nice & funny & talented lady but she needs a fucking handler to keep her from acting like a ghetto nigger on the online.

Wow. I saw that episode and just assumed he went on for lulz and to promote his website and was saying that stuff to be edgy. That's hyper exceptional.

Which tells me the investigation is probably bullshit, and DHS is just doing some cheap PR. The Bureau is almost certainly too bogged down with pedos/terrorism for its cybercrime investigators to be bothered, but DHS would be the agency with resources to piss away on something like this. I'm guessing the agent(s) assigned to the case are going to put in about an hour's effort on it each day, then fuck off back to whatever ISIS case they were working on.

This might account for otherwise unaccountable stupidity. Any standup is used to dealing with hecklers, and has to be. So she's used to dealing with stupid hecklers, where you have eye contact and can look at facial expressions and get social cues as to where the audience is with it.

Having that experience, Harambe thought she could pull it off online. But trolls are used to not caring about social expectations. In fact, they're deliberately flouting them and acting as horribly as they can, since nobody can do anything about it anyway. I even commented early on that she was coming across fairly well in the early parts. But nope, the shit keeps on coming.

So Harambe tries some of the usual anti-heckler tactics. Instead, more hecklers show up and do even dumber shit, as she's responding to it at all. This isn't a comedy club, it's the Internet, and dumb is king.

And dumb is responding to this kind of shit as it keeps coming in.

With the lack of facial expressions, tones of voice and other shit, you can't do that stand up shit of chasing off hecklers, because when trolls are your hecklers, there are always more. We're like marabunta ants. Once that giant gorilla falls over we're getting in on the feast.

Even the negative media publicity is food.

The Internet DOES NOT CARE where its food is coming from. Just whether it's tasty.

And Harambe is a media personality. She can always go whine to the normies who will naturally commiserate with her victimhood in being such a poor, poor victim at the hands of the evil interwebz and that awful white supremacist Jew Milo who takes it up the ass from niggers every day.
