Murray also said it was good, but in a really roundabout way like he just wanted to be polite. He said people would "delight" in it, and basically admitted he did the cameo because he didn't want people to think he was a curmudgeon who hated it.

They had to threaten to sue him to get him to appear in it, so I doubt he expects (or wants) anyone to think he sincerely likes it.

Here's what he actually said:

Bill Murray is pretty hard to ever get a bead on. But this reeks of kind of a begrudging compliment he gave because he just didn't want to start any drama. In that same article he basically states he agonized over whether or not he wanted to do a cameo. I think most of his "support" of the movie just comes from the fact Bill was well aware he would be a divining rod for the movie's quality and he just wanted to be nice.
