this is the aforementioned yungcummies here (I saw Leslie made the news so I googled my own handle, get at me). "immature rubber" was actually something someone called me and it was so ridiculous that it stuck. anyway, I really didn't even say anything that overly offensive other than the role that she played was a trope and her comedy was bad. as you said, she's a comedian, and as a comedian, my account information is such perfect material for her to retaliate with. I'm honestly shocked that she couldn't come up with something other than "useless hateful bitch" when someone with the handle yungcummies was coming at her. my mentions were and still are flooded with uneducated buffoons crying racist and reporting me. its pretty funny, much funnier than Leslie's comedy.

If I may be serious: I don't think it is okay to throw racial slurs at her, even if it is obvious trolling.

That said, the way it is handled by her and Sony, it is obvious that a lot of it is also backlash because of the movie.
And the saddest thing for me is actually the following:
She is a comedian. She gets shit thrown at her. And she actually has a line from the movie she could throw in return at it, if she was thinking for a couple of seconds.
Which line?

The one from the trailer. You know:

"I don't know if this is a race thing or a woman thing, but I am mad as hell"

Sure, it would not be a great comeback. But better then feeding the trolls
 
This may be the prime example of internet fights: Whomever wins or loses, everyone involved is retarded. Especially our "victim" Leslie Jones.

It depends. If it hits any of the really major media outlets, it might. TV news, basically. Even if they try to spin it in her favor, it might scare off soccer moms, and let's face it those are the ones who decide where movie ticket money gets spent during the summer.

Unless it's something really huge or really embarrassing (dropping slurs people actually give a shit about, sending a dick pic to an underage person, that sort of thing), I don't think most studios really give a shit what their inventory does on social media.

I could only see it actually hurting her if she goes on a bigger meltdown and starts saying some really racist or homophobic shit. Otherwise it will just looked at as brave Leslie standing up to the mean internet.

Related thought: What percentage of the people writing these "We support Leslie!" articles and giving hate to the people she retweets do you think are actually sincere?

Like, how many of them actually, sincerely believe she's being persecuted, and how many of them actually think "Geez this bitch is bringing this on herself" but are still defending her for Social Justice Points?
