Well, the attack was juvenile, in poor taste and moronic. Which is why her reaction was all the more hilarious. When you get mad at a person called "Triggerbait", you've certainly lost control of your life.
And it's no surprise that she's portrayed as a victim, she definetly is, however she's not an innocent victim with the shit she wrote and her reaction just stirrd up more shit. The moment they pretend she carried through all this as the morally superior victor, that's the point where the article goes down the crapper. She was flailing about like an exceptional individual, writing idiotic shit left and right. For a comedian, she made an insanely poor job at being witty.

The moment they learn that trolls, shitposters and internet slapfights have exactly zero relevance in the real world if nobody would pay them any attention. So: Never.
Usually these people think they fight against the trolls. What they don't realize: 90% of the people they fight with are anonymous chucklefucks laughing their ass off over the reactions, riling her up and keeping her going.
In other terms: On one hand, you've got a troll on a burner account and on the other a celebrity that's behaving like a lunatic.
Who's gonna lose more face here? Some random guy from the street that most likely didn't even attach his name to his troll account or the celebrity?
I can't wrap my head around this. Leslie spent the better part of yesterday, retweeting sock puppet accounts, thinking she was exposing them. Like she was fully expecting them to be shamed in front of friends, family and coworkers... when it's clearly a sock puppet.
I'd ask if she didn't understand how Twitter and online communities work, but then again, she's already shown her ignorance when it comes to photoshopped tweets.

To to sum up the entire event, this wasn't about racism at all, this woman simply got HECKLED......HARD (which exposed her ignorance and the person she really is). Leslie is an abrasive comic who's typecast a played out stereotype, which I think she does well most of the time, but that's all she can lactate. People who heckle are going to go in on what material the victim seems most vulnerable too or whichever bait they bite on hardest . Obviously this woman is not "average" or "mediocre" by any standard and this is why the low brow "racist" comments are so easy to toss or generate. If she was an obese white woman, you already know what the comments would have been and she would have pulled the "body shaming" card. With Leslie's age and status, her reaction to this SHOULD have been more adult and CLASSY but instead her illiterate "ghetto speak" is beyond second hand embarrassment and is exactly what FUELED THE FLAMES. I'm sure at this point she will be invited to a White House dinner before February.
