Well, I mean, she's got a few clickbait articles applauding her for her bravery and crying for her, so, she's got some sort of residual fame, this absolutely will be played out as a harassment campaign that could squeeze another million dollars out of Ghostbusters, but then again...

It's Ghostbusters. I think the main problem with the marketing is that it was so in your face with the changeup that they alienated a bit (not a majority, but, a bit) of people that wanted to go see it because it no longer just felt like a stupid comedy film about four dudes busting ghosts, now it's all about the power of pussy, baby! All this weird racism shit and inflammatory remarks is gonna piss off the white suburban mothers with like 6 kids that'll provide the bulk of Ghostbusters money. Since, y'know, they have to bring their kids to the theatre, and they just might bite the bullet and see the Secret Life of Pets over something that feels as political and inflammatory as Coonskin (exaggeration there). Will somebody think of the children?!

So an "actress" known for playing loud, obnoxious, ignorant black stereotypes is acting like a loud, obnoxious, ignorant black stereotype? What a fucking shock. It's almost like stereotypes exist for a reason.

And sadly Hollywood will continue to rehash classic films with unoriginal content, cast untalented hacks, end expect Leftist buzzwords and political correctness to intimidate people to go fill those seats. Maybe they should actually try to make quality films for a change?
