Playing the victim was too much of a temptation for her, I suppose.

Probably why she spoke up, she got a ton of asspats from the media the last time, she's probably hoping for a repeat with some extra thrown on for her "urunj mun bud!" she tacked on. Has she even worked since that shitsterpiece?

So there was a new Ghostbusters film announced recently: it isn't going to have any of the female cast from the 2016 failure and will be directed by Jason Reitman, the son of the director of the original 1984 film.

A few days ago, someone tweeted at the director and asked him to bring in the female stars of the 2016 film, and they tagged Jones and the other actresses in the tweet.

Yesterday, Jones responded to the tweet with her usual nonsense:

Maybe Leslie should actually star in a better movie next time.

"We didn't count"

Well, Les, last Halloween, I saw a little girl out with her mom, she had a ghostbuster costume... and it was the old school uniform. You indeed don't count, nobody cares about your movie.

When Ebonics goes supersonic.
I’m surprised there’s no “bix nood” in her message.

God, this is funny. An actor cast in a reboot of Ghostbusters is complaining that she hasn't been hired for another reboot. Of course a reboot is not going to cast the same actors as before, it's considered a wholly different universe or whatever. Imagine if Toby Maguire chimped on Twitter because he wasn't cast as the newest Spiderman kid.

Also, I still can't get over the fact that she talks and writes like a stereotypical black woman, the only characters she portrays are stereotypical black women, and yet she still cries racism when people treat her like one.

So she's complaining about stereotypes and attempting to disprove them by. . .by chimping out? Wtf.

Everyone else involved in that abortion of a movie is fine to let it pass and forget all about it. Leslie can't, because it was the highlight of her joke of a career.

She's a living breathing stereotype but either she doesn't see it or wants us to see her as something bigger. Yeah. Let's cast her as Marie Curie or something.

Usually when they do something like use an original cast member in a reboot it's a cameo. But then again, Leslie isn't original cast and she's been so awful who would want her?

The movie didn't fail because it was all wymyns. It failed because it sucked. And the media ran with the misogyny story for nothing more than woke points. Meanwhile Leslie continued to feed the trolls like the dumb Harambe faced hippo that she is. People kept posting Harambe memes because she kept fighting trolls on Twitter. But it was solely racism right? Every single person posting those memes was wearing white sheets and had just come back home from a long night of cross burnin' and lynchin'.

Did she actually think that they were going to go through with a sequel to the 2016 Ghostbusters?:lit:

I wonder if she's the only cast member who literally thought that? Because after the tanking of that disaster any future plans grinded to a halt. Making a sequel would just hemorrhage money out of every pore. A studio would have to be out of their minds. Even a more cheaply produced direct to DVD release wouldn't recoup costs. Wake up, Leslie.

Are we gonna get another series of trolling resulting in a massive chimpout?

Alas, probably not, I doubt much of anyone is paying attention to her anymore. With Girls-and-ghouls-is-a-winning-combinationbusters largely stuffed down the memory hole, the more likely reaction is "Leslie who?"

Her character (putting bad stereotypes aside) wasn't even that bad. She and McKinnon were somehow funny at some point. the other two were insufferable.

Honestly I don't think she's that bad a comedian. The fact that she was able to survive some of the worst direction and script I've ever seen in a mobie and still have some funny moments shows she could be one of the few SNL cast members able to branch out. But her overal public persona probably makes her an undesirable casting choice. It's not like she's famous enough or gathered enough of an acting cred for people to accept her behaviour in exchange for having a great actor/someone who will get people watching just to see her. Even Christian Bale barely gets acting gigs for his behaviour and Leslie's no Bale

Edit: granted, Leslie isn't as bad as Bale is on set so I'll give her that
