It's not uncommon for victims of child sexual abuse to try to find a way to rationalize it, these kind of statements just make me feel more sorry for her. On one hand if she genuinely has moved on from it good for her, but it's still a horrific thing that can be waiting to rise up in the brain at any time

I know a lot of people will disagree, but Sandler and James have managed to be funny sometimes and women like men who make them laugh. I mean, Jack Black is IRL funny and his wife is very ok.

Also, I give them a pass because many of their movies are oriented to a male audience so they also have to cater to the fantasy of men only having to be funny goofs to win the girl just like chicflicks show how men can fall in love with women only because they're so awesome and empowered.

Now, the difference here is that those "awesome" women are often played by very hot chics while those "funny guys" are played by comedians who are, at the end, good people.

Lena is an asshole through and through. Even if you manage to overlook the fact she looks like a cocaine-addicted pig, she's an awful individual.

Yeah people who aren't conventionally attractive having attractive partners in an of itself isn't impossible since personality, charisma, kindness, intelligence, and many other traits also factor into what people look for in partners. Lena however has literally no redeeming qualities. In real life people like her aren't banging hot doctors or Kylo Ren: Chad Thundercock Edition. They'll be with at best meh looking people with massive self esteem issues

Or molesting their baby sibling :(

Well then, the outfit fits the theme, possibly better than many in attendance who went more glam than camp, but Lena is still utterly disgusting, especially compared to Jemima. Her makeup looks like sweat/drool/oil mixed with the glaze on a honey-baked ham, and her body gets doughier and more amorphous by the day.

I love that what she says about Lena Dunham applies just as perfectly to all of the Fat Acceptance "activists" who insist that the only reason men wouldn't want to fuck them or other women wouldn't want to look like them is all due to fatphobia. Virgie Tovar and Lena Dunham are cut from the same rotten cloth, and share the same "old-school neuroticism."
