Lemonteaflower has been such an interesting tag to browse mostly because of the shotacon outrage. There’s even an entire blog dedicated to trying to get this user sent to prison.
Can you imagine certain art being a crime? Being arrested for something that flows from the pen? I’m not sure about the legal standing in general but it is pretty much a victimless crime and it’s not worth sending someone to jail over.
I’m biased because lolicon was one of those things that helped me explore my sexuality as a CSA victim but even then I don’t think you really need a “reason” to enjoy it like I don’t think you need a particular reason to enjoy noncon, as long as you try to not force it on other people.
I’m not attempting to get LTF sent to prison, but hey, it might happen if tumblr takes it further since
the content she posted is illegal on a united states website. That’s out of my hands. I just want to make the tumblr staff aware of what’s being hosted on their servers.
Yes, it is a crime, as google will tell you. I don’t know why you people keep trying to skirt over this, but it’s both laughable and pathetic.
I understand that you’re a CSA victim, and some of us might consume pedophiliac media because we were harmed and detached, but not everything CSA victims do to cope is healthy or excusable. And most of the time, CSA victims do this in a very private manner so as to not contribute to normalizing child porn. It is not excusable for a CSA victim to defend a person who has romanticized the trauma of hundreds of thousands of child rape victims simply because they have used that media to cope. What LTF has done was broadcast her child rape “fetish” as if there’s nothing wrong with it, as if there’s no trauma attached to that real life occurrence, as if displaying it in a romanticized fashion isn’t harmful on some level, as if touting it like a “kink” won’t validate other pedophiles (if you think depicting child rape is victimless,
think again), as if depicting child rape isn’t illegal. I feel empathy for you, I really do, because I too was in that place where I excused pedophilia because I didn’t find any other healthy outlets, but all of this that LTF has done with regard to issue is indefensible and vile whether you all want to admit this or not.
Ah, I figured with the gotoprison thing that was your endgoal. As a side note that second link you left is a little more ambivalent on the legality of loli/shotacon. It mentions how some cops won’t arrest over toon pornography but they use it as a marker on whether or not someone should be investigated. So I’m guessing they’re looking for excessive downloaders and searchers rather than that one person who faves cub art on inkbunny.
When I say victimless crime I literally mean it’s victimless since it’s harder to predict what the societal ramifications would be. Would Cardcaptor Sakura porn really normalize the relationship between a predator and a child? I don’t really think so but there isn’t a definitive answer on that. But we can say that the minors depicted are fictional and can not be hurt because they are not real.
And like most CSA victims I keep my drawings and writings about loli/shota pretty private so I mostly acknowledge I have them but I wouldn’t want this to really be a crime and it shouldn’t be.
Nah, there was no real gain, because the guy who downloaded child porn actually was legally labelled a sex offender, so he did face a legal ramification for that. He won’t be able to live where he wants, he probably won’t hold a job that can support a family, and countless other freedoms that are taken away when you participate in consuming child pornography. And I supposed you just ignored the part where law enforcement noted that cartoon child pornography normalizes that behavior regardless. Some people might not go to jail, but they
nearly always are put on the sex offender list even if they do escape jail time and have their quality of life diminished for the atrocity they committed. That means anyone who is in possession of or produces depictions of child rape can be legally labelled a sex offender if they are investigated at the
very least.
LTF has a fuckton of this stuff. Not one or two images, but at least 20-30 depictions of child porn, so it’s safe to say this isn’t a minor case of someone making a mistake. She knows exactly what she’s doing.
Simply because you refuse to acknowledge the correlation between
cartoon child porn, grooming, and validation of other pedophiles who might observe it doesn’t mean that it does not hold true. It just means you’re being willfully ignorant. It does not matter if it’s fictional; fictional depictions VALIDATE other pedophiles and makes them comfortable. What people must realize is that fiction does not exist in a bubble that is separate from our reality. Our
reality informs and influences fiction. Our real lives, our morals, our imaginations, are what cause fiction to exist, so our societal conditioning, on some level, will be displayed in fiction on a subconscious and material level. With no reality, there is no fiction. Children are real, and how people depict child rape in fiction is not separate from the culture of pedophilia. It exists
within the culture of pedophila because society and our experiences inform how we construct fiction. Pedophilia exists within society, and pedophilia does not become benevolent because it is in a fictionalized display, because fiction exists
withinthe society that deems child rape immoral. Fiction is contained within reality, not outside of it, which is why drawn child porn is illegal in the first place. Drawn child rape contributes to the culture of pedophilia that fiction is contained
within, not outside of.
Law enforcement has caught many predators who think cartoon child porn won’t get them in trouble; just because someone doesn’t realize why it’s harmful doesn’t make them innocent. You don’t seem to be knowledgable about this subject at all, so I hope you explore more on your own because there are more and more examples of cartoon child porn getting disgusting people who consume it legally deemed sex offenders by law, kicked out of their homes because landlords don’t allow sex offenders to live on property they own, dropped from their jobs because that person is now deemed to be unsafe around children, and countless other things. It is a serious offense whether someone goes to jail or not, and history has shown, that more likely than not, they’re going to face a harsh consequence even if the judge doesn’t put them in prison.
It is entirely selfish of you to want your coping mechanism of consuming media of children in sexual situations to be legal simply because it makes you comfortable on an individual level when it normalizes the trauma of hundreds of other CSA victims. The police aren’t going to care if you use it to cope if they come knocking at your door. USA-based websites aren’t going to care either. It’s a crime and it’s going to remain that way, so my best advice to you is to be careful. You’re already being daft by admitting that you have it, which is dangerous for a CSA victim, or anyone to do, but I digress. If you broadcast your coping mechanism (such as physically posting them like LTF did), then you’re putting other CSA victims and children in a position of emotional and mental harm who may come across it. Just because you don’t care about being a token for pedophiles to feel validated doesn’t mean the rest of us have to feel the same way, and we’re not going to, so you need to look out for yourself in that regard, stay safe, and for the love of god don’t broadcast any romanticized depiction of child porn as if it’s okay. I’m not saying you would, but I’m encouraging you not to, because the older you get, the harder it is to believe you’ll be protected by it. I know, because I went through it. Your coping mechanism is not going to protect you, and your coping mechanism < the welfare of children and CSA victims who don’t deserve to see it.
