To be fair, the fashwave "Right Wing Death Squads annie may MG42 armour man" images invoked the same, even if it was shitposting.
And there were probably more than enough dumb fucks who unironically believed and posted those as well.

The principal difference between the far right and the far left is the former lacks the institutional support and power the latter has.

I don't recall quite as much bloody viscera in loving detail in the Emperor Trump or Ride the Tiger memes. And the Right Wing Death Squads meme was mocking left wing hysteria. I'm not sure what the joke to most of these is besides "Trump supporters DIE DIE DIE."

There have certainly been a few, and I can't think of a more opportune time for a leftist raid than now (except if Biden won in a landslide, but that was never going to happen).
