People are under this false assumption that if you use too few words that you sound like a tool and that more words makes you sound smart and well read, but in reality the opposite is true as a smart person can say the right thing in 20 words or less and too many words makes it seem like you don't know what you are talking about and you are padding the essay you are doing in high school.
