Proof of the shitty public education system, I didn’t even know what a ray tube was. Why should I care about a lynching which is usually a coin flip of justified vs unjustified, compared to an invention that actually progressed America.

They say right wing comedy isn’t good then they always highlight the corniest mainstream dudes. Like of course they suck, they’re aimed at boomers. And they will dismiss actual funny comedy from a right wing perspective as racist/sexist/etc, therefore unfunny by default

In fairness, Gutfield is one of the worst News channel "comedians" whose videos I've had the misfortune to have shoveled onto my autoplay.
Every time Youtube's algorithm forces me onto one of his videos my urge to do a terrorism on Goggle intensifies.

From what little I've seen of him, I'd agree, but his show isn't really a comedy show, right? He introduces the topic in (his attempt at) a humorous manner for one minute and then the panelists discuss it for like eight minutes, right?

His attacks on the Bee come across as the most "It's not funny!" He cherry picks examples to try to show they only have one joke and comes very close to saying "it can't possibly be funny because it's just not true" and that sort of thing. He makes overtones at overcoming his internal bias by showing off the Blue Collar Comedy Tour guys as examples of "conservative comedians" who are actually funny to him, but then says it's because they're not really political - okay, then how are they conservative comedians?

Whatever. I don't even consider myself a conservative anymore but I still felt like the guy was full of shit, and of course there's no reason for this video to be as long as it is except for masturbatory purposes.

People tend to find humor that aligns with their beliefs funny. Some people take that to the extreme and only consume media that aligns with their beliefs, and that's part of how you get modern politics.

(This is true of both sides)
