That and they want to be able to whine and complain about slavery indefinitely. Can't be a victim anymore if you actually let people make amends.
 
I'm not sure how much this counts but:

FFXII has you in essence kill the gods of your world and destroy an empire. You glorify the piracy as that's what your main dude is. The tall bunny girl walking out of a BDSM setup and the remaining female outfits go from mild to full out stripperiffic.

FF Type O uses child soldiers to fix the problems made by the world, where each are brainwashed to obey a crazy bitch.

FFVIII has an autistic asshole child soldier locked in an endless cycle of killing his mother. His sister crushes hard for him while a whiny edgelord wannabe sniper falls for the cheerleader on crack.

Final Fantasy 6 could also be badly described as the stunning, brave story of Terra and Celes overcoming the patriarchy and saving the world from the angry white male incels (Gestahl, Kafka) that run it. Locke is their male feminist ally.

I always thought of Celes as having been denied her identity and discovering the joys of indulging her feminine impulses, like dressing up pretty, singing, wearing ribbons, caring for a sick friend and cooking for him, being loved by a man...

Also, Locke doesn't rape anyone so he's clearly not a male feminist ally.
 
4, 5 and 6. Maybe 9. Then it went to shit. 5 had the infamous scene when Bartz amd Galuf peer into Fairs sleeping at the inn. Then the whole reveal of Fairs at the sea cave.

Both Mother 2 & 3 had Porky Minch, a fat manchild that tries to kill you to get money and power and is often associated with pigs. This can be seen as fatphobia and therefore problematic. I can also see some fat whale relate to Porky for both being fat, wanting shit they can't have, having "abusive" parents, and being a strain on society in general.
 
FF IV because the beginning is just a king sending his knights to genocide an entire village of summoners.
 
FF11 had giant beastmen enslaved by humans (even to the point of being renamed) to work the mines, a nation of imperialist elves who thought of other races as inferior, and a group of midget arcanists living with a race of half naked thieving catgirls.

It was great!
