Welp, I assume Commune would be the Legal Bytes camp while Liberty is everyone who wants to just do their own thing while collaborating loosely. But are we already at the point where the opposing groups are aligning themselves on the political spectrum? That was fucking fast.

Looks like there's going to be a verdict in the Depp case. Rekieta said it'll be read at 3:00, but if he mentioned a time zone I didn't catch it. It'll be interesting to see who survives the inevitable drop in numbers that will start tomorrow.

Not saying is actually amplifying the drama. He surely had to know that insinuating something happened and it would only cause more drama/hurt DUIGuy to say is just hurting DUIGuy in the exact way he claims to be avoiding. Not knowing allows people to theorize and guess, and not only will they jump to the worst possible conclusions, but their imagination is going to be worse than any real event. If he really knew something bad happened but wanted to protect DUIGuy he could have said 'no comment' 'I don't know anything' or 'nothing happened'. Or even 'DUIGuy already told the story' or something to that effect. Saying "I know exactly what happened" means something more than we know happened, and "It's best we don't discuss it" implies it would be greatly harmful to DUIGuy if it came out, and "If you weren't there you're stupid and don't know" filters out all reasonable theories that exist and allows only extreme ones to breed.

He basically couldn't have done more damage to DUIGuy addressing it than if he just made something up wholesale.
