Laura Woods has been handed a bizarre warning by Instagram after a comment labelling a West Ham fan a 'sausage' broke their hate speech rules.

It started with a video posted on the platform by Woods announcing the arrival of Declan Rice at Arsenal with the caption 'he's here and he's perfect.'

The 24-year-old recently joined the Gunners for a club record £105 million, but one fan felt they had signed him while looking for a bargain, and said so in the comments of Woods' post.

Confused by the novel take, the broadcaster replied: 'None of this makes any sense. Want him on the cheap? Just paid over £100m for him you sausage.'

She has now revealed getting into hot water over the comment, which was removed from Instagram for breaking their hate speech rules.

The former TalkSPORT presenter posted the warning on her Instagram story, with the caption: 'Is sausage classed as hate speech these days?'

Away from her run-ins with Instagram, Woods is currently preparing to lead ITV's coverage of the upcoming Women's World Cup.

She gave an emotional final Breakfast show on TalkSPORT last month, which ended three years in a role that saw her win multiple awards for her coverage, including Best Speech Breakfast Show at the ARIAS in 2021.

Outgoing Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling is the favourite to replace her on the show.

Woods has been heavily linked with a presenting role at the newly launched TNT Sports- the rebrand of BT Sport - ahead of the new season.

The 36-year-old is expected to take over from Jake Humphrey after he announced that he will be leaving his role as the main anchor at the channel, but is yet to complete a deal.

She is set to team up with Jules Breach and Lynsey Hipgrave for the broadcaster's re-launch, as the all-female trio attempt to make football less laddish.

It's probably some new insult trannies made up due to removing their own sausage, the mental image alone probably triggers them.
 
I bet she clapped and cheered while people around her were banned for shitposting or making off-color jokes. I bet she supported silencing vaccine skeptics and doctors who questioned the narrative. She probably reported other people’s comments with glee who dared to question her journalism on the Internet. Fuck you til Sunday, anyone of us could have told you this is the inevitable conclusion of the bullshit performative niceness that liberals love so much.

When the government realized it could bypass the constitution by having a symbiotic relationship with private companies who can enforce their fascist ways instead. This has been something in the works since the 70s.

Today it's mean words, tomorrow it's all forms of dissent. All under the guise of being "for the greater good and empathy".
