Bindings like that wasn't uncommon way back when Quake started being popular, before WASD, with the exception that shoot was actually bound to a key. I knew a guy that used the mouse buttons to walk forwards and backwards yet used the arrow keys to turn/strafe and page up/page down to look up and down. It was the most retarded control scheme you can imagine.
