"Scarface" was one of the Mapogo lions, the pride who ran Kenya for a decade. (They called them Mapogos after the Kenyan version of Blackwater or the Pinkertons,) Most of the famous Mapogos died in some gnarly fight, but Scarface kicked the bucket from hunger and old age, because eventually you get too old to hunt and that's life.

I didn't know it was so bad for squeeeenix.

I watched my brother play FF16. It had some cool ideas, for example the fights against Eikons are basically kaiju battles, but I really didn't feel any connection to the characters and much of the environments look like either Generic Fantasy #2 or "cinematic darkness". I don't like button mashing realtime action RPGS much, so E33 being turn based (and using the Legend of Dragoon style "attack activation QTE" system was awesome) draws me into it more, The short amount I saw of E33 gave you a huge connection to the characters right off the bat and the environments don't feel generic.

FF just doesn't feel like FF anymore, it's just a generic fantasy world with minimal connections to the previous games. My brother asked if I was going to play FF16 after he beat it but honestly playing that game seems like a chore rather than something fun to do. Also, what's the plot about? I dunno, some sort of power struggle war. It's basically Game of Thrones with a coat of FF paint.

IDK if there is a thread on KF, but there was a thread on /v/ a few days ago. Some investors or something made a 100 page document going over the unspeakable practices of squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenix leading the company to a financial demise. They had inside info about just how bad it was at squeeeeeeeaf-nix and... feels.

Now, onto priorities:

I had 16 but can’t get into it. I really enjoyed XV and think it’s the best since X, for me personally. My favorites are V, VI and IX.
