Germany may be involved in a war imposed on it, suggests the head of the German Defense Ministry, Christine Lambrecht. However, the country can defend itself with the help of allies, she assured.

Germany should prepare for a possible attack, said German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht in an interview with the Rheinische Post and General-Anzeiger newspapers published on Monday, November 21.

"We must be ready to defend Germany and the territory of the Alliance," she said. Asked by reporters to comment on the words of Bundeswehr Inspector General Eberhard Zorn that Germany should be prepared in case it finds itself involved in a war imposed on it, Lambrecht replied: "Defence has always been a key task of the Bundeswehr. You'd let us keep planes there in decent numbers.
If you'd let us keep out tanks there
If you'd let us keep critical military bases and build more to the East
If you'd let us keep our strategic fuel reserve there
If you'd let us keep our on-post power generation systems
If you'd let us keep our infantry and Rangers and MI there.

From who? Fuckers didn't even mention an potential enemy, just that it must be ready for an attack.

Germany is surrounded by other NATO countries and has access to most technology and arsenals. Who the fuck is going to go all the way to attack them? Russia? Extremely unlikely since Ukraine is still their main concern overall and aren't doing well compared to the first few months they invaded. Adding NATO to the mix is just suicide. China? If they were to publicly invade anyone, it would be Taiwan or it's neighbors and they would rather prefer doing more subtle ways of destroying Germany's infrastructure and self-reliance than an outright attack, hell they have been doing that for a long time and have already established their own secret police forces when dealing with overseas Chinese students/workers in most of the Western World.

Who else would Germany have to worry about? I honestly can't think of one country that isn't what I listed already that's even plasuable. It's all superficial bullshit.

Poland. The Poles may decide that with their age-old enemy Russia getting torn to shreds in Ukraine to go deal with the one on their other border just to be sure. Article 5 only applies in case of attack by a non-NATO member after all, as proven by NATO shrugging when the Greeks and Turks shot at each other in the Aegean over Cypress in the 1970's. That is of course, assuming anyone in NATO even pretends to care because they're just as tired of German expectations that everyone else should die for them as the USA is.
