Unfortunately her followers will eat that discussion with Blaire White up, completely ignoring the fact that Laci invalidated Blaire's experience with being raped.

I finally finished this video (it's long so I viewed it in chunks.)

Jesus Christ. Laci dominated the conversation and continuously interrupted Blaire.

I initially trusted her when she claimed her role wasn't to own Blaire and win, but to have a civil discussion and end the debate with some thoughts to chew on. That later proved to be disingenuous.

It's pretty clear Laci was nervous and eager to counter Blaire's points. In contrast, Blaire exuded confidence and came across as just wanting to have a conversation. She seemed far more open to being challenged than Laci did.

I was initially :optimistic:, but now I'm thoroughly disapointed. This would have been a more productive debate if she quit shotgunning, asked more questions, and let Blaire talk.

Omitting the over-use of the word "nuance" would have been nice too.

Some interesting development: Laci might be trying to engage with the other side (I guess that means any evil fuck that doesn't subscribe to identity politics) more


I don't know if she's actually interested in hearing from people that are not part of the feminist, SJW hugbox or she's just realized that's what might get her more views and not being downvoted into oblivion, but hey. My take on it is that Laci is trying to appeal to a wider audience. With the articles being written about the Redpill documentary, she decided to follow the money. Be interesting to see if these videos receive more views than her regular uploads, but we'll need to wait and see.

Without getting into too much detail, Laci got accused, about a month ago, of thoughtcrime and a huge chunk of her old clique turned on her. Realizing there was an opportunity in this, Green responded by trying to reach across to the other side of the aisle despite not agreeing with them for open dialogue, and henceforth showed more balls than Destiny or indeed most of her former associates.

The result was her beginning what looks like the start of her leaving the field of her old ideology. If she admits she was wrong, she'll have gone full IMC and the salt is going to be fucking delicious.

I hope this is genuine. I've never been a big Laci hater when it comes to the SJW group. It was good of her to do the discussion with Blaire White, and I think she's realising now that the anti-SJW crowd are just normal people that happen to disagree with her.
 
Laci is still annoying and unfunny, but I've got the very slight suspicion that this engagement with her ideological opposites may be genuine this time. Specifically, people like Chris Ray Gun and other miscellaneous anti-SJW characters have interacted with her in person and, contrast to her discussion with Blaire White, things seems to have been handled far better.

Time will tell if she's just shifting gears or she genuinely improves, but my fundamental problems with her as a content creator I feel will still exist even if she's changed some opinions. Laci is just blunt about matters that have more nuance than just blanket statements. She does this all the time, and if she exchanges feminism for more moderate or conservative positions, nothing will change unless her method of discussion becomes more elaborative, cites more sources, she becomes genuinely more interesting to watch, and goes out of her way to no longer generalize like she does on her show all of the time.

The dying optimist in me will hope she does improve, if only to further send a message that the older you get, the harder it is to stay a modern-day liberal. (SJW)
But I won't be surprised if she back peddles hard.

Now, inb4 dumbasses think it's ok to think she's hot now because she may have been redpilled, you cucks.

California's done for. The levels of crazy there make it a safe bet to be the ground zero of the inevitable breakup of the US.

As for the SJW stuff, there's no real point in being an anti-SJW liberal. Crazy pozz isn't some kind of aberration, it's liberalism's inevitable fruit. Feminists are basically correct about patriarchy. What they're wrong about is that there can be stable societies where men and women are equal in both rights and social expectation. Patriarchy didn't come into existence because men hate women or some such nonsense; it won out on evolutionary terms. You can point to exceptional times and locales, but for the most part, a society with rules in place that balance the innate traits of the sexes with the interests of the society win out.

This is why you see European societies welcoming the importation of alien peoples with hostile ideologies which will inevitably do away with their way of life. And more to the point, why women are very much the driving force in that effort.
