What'll they become?

A lot of them wasted their lives on useless gender studies degrees and have made really shitty life ruining moves, such as cutting ties with supportive family members who funded their insanity.

Then again, the "Die Cis Scum" girl, Raphael, did become a regular person after her whole incident, so maybe there is hope.

Maybe not for your John Walker Flynts and Guilluame Labelles, but in this case, it'll work out for your Lacy Greens.

That's usually the epiphany that those who bail have reached, they realize there are no allies, no friends, no, well, anything to keep them from getting mauled if they step out of line. And that's when they realized that forced compassion looks a lot like forced brutality.

Hippies were a vastly overstated part of the Baby Boomer generation that has a much larger historical profile than they probably deserve due to endless lionization by the media/entertainment industry. They were a tiny tiny minority of an overall population that grew up very conservative, which is why when Baby Boomers as a generation began voting consistently politics in the USA went sharply rightward.

Thinking that it was mostly hippies who turned into the greedy yuppies of the 80's is like thinking it was mostly emo kids who turned into hipsters.

I've actually been an acquaintance of Ian's since before he went sjw even, and I also know several other writers there so I feel like I could offer some insight here. I can't read Heatst on my phone however - due to a combination of their ads and the site's exceptional coding, any time I go there you can practically hear my shitty old phone begging to be put out of its misery. Just like buzzfeed unsurprisingly.

And just like buzzfeed, it's absolutely a clickbait culture wars feed, but if you're wondering what I think you are @Viracocha (I wondered this myself back when I first saw the site, back in the days when I had proper internet :() they really like using sjw rhetoric against sjws. Really really like.

That makes a lot of sense, honestly. I guess my only issue is that it's hard to declare superiority when you're using the same shitty tactics that your opposition does. It just makes you look as shitty as the other side.

I'm reminded of anti-GG screaming about how doxing was bad.....unless it was someone who deserved it, then it was totally OK.

Yuppie is based off the term "young urban professional" and referred to ambitious, fashionable, successful/wealthy douches who were usually only in their 20s or early 30s when the term was coined in the early 80s.

So no, a bunch of crusty-ass 50 year old ex-flower children did not suddenly move to LA and NYC to work at Nakatomi Plaza or with Gordon Gekko and become yuppies in the early 80s.

A lot of the crusty hippies were writing screeds against said yuppies, if anything.

Having grown up in that decade, I recall a lot of comic authors and screenwriters didn't like them too much.....

Speaking of Nakatomi Plaza, it was common for the bad guys in action movies to shoot a few obnoxious yuppies as disposable victims the audience wouldn't really care about when they had to show John McClain they "meant business", usually the sniveling one who had just won over the heroes ex-girlfirend with a BMW and promotion, but is really a contemptible little coke addict who insider trades and gave the terrorists the vault code to settle his debts.
 
American Psycho is probably one of the best portrayals of yuppies. Really, almost any of Bret Easton Ellis' books depict yuppies really well, but American Psycho was pretty much entirely about them.

Theres a lot of difference between shitting your pants about doxing and then gleefully doxing someone you hate and merely using the same rhetoric. The latter might be cringe, but it's mainly used to point out the inconsistencies. The former is just being an unironic hypocrite.
