Everything is organized if you zoom to the right level. Also has anyone considered using herds as 2D fluid dynamics simulators? Or the other way adound? Use a fluid flow modeler to simulated herd dynamics
I heard that something to that effect was used when it came to considering how to block off the border.

I cannot believe this island isn’t being evacuated, meanwhile I’m in Florida considering inventing a need for me to be at the <safe Mountain state> office for say 3-6 months and taking my family with me.

Some completely surreal close up news footage from down in the town. In Spanish

OMG, at minute 1:44 of the video, a man appears resuscitating a kitten. The dude, from UME (Military Emergency Unit) has decided to adopt it and its name will be Laguna, in honor of the neighborhood where it was rescued.

:semperfidelis:
Semper Fi to that guy.

Copernicus, an European Emergency Management Service that provides mapping via satellite imagery, has updated its information and now looks like this:

8582D8D6-E13A-4DBB-957B-BE5CAA72DB1F.jpeg

At 12:06 UTC:
  • Extent of the lava flow: 886.6 ha
  • 2.122 destroyed buildings (61 in the last 24 hours)
  • 6.800 ha covered by ashfall in the area

This is hilarious. After all this media circus, it turns out that some anonymous local residents rescued the dogs by walking into the exclusion area. Just like that.
Since entering a restricted area is a felony, they haven’t been able to reveal their identities so they named themselves The A-Team. I’m no kidding, I swear.
They have hung a banner where the dogs were.

Strength La Palma, the dogs are OK. The A-Team.

Anyway, I won’t believe it until I see new pics of the dogs. This is very weird lol.
I'm not crying. You're crying. Shut up! :'(

I'm both fucking stupid and Canadian, but would Mt. Hood potentially going off possibly fuck with the Cascadia fault? That fucker's just as overdue, though honestly if it fuck with Vancouver and Victoria in some way I'm all for it.

And is it wrong that my first thought on hearing that mountains name was that it'd be surrounded by niggers?
Sounds like the plot of Project Wingman

God this is super hard because I’m in Florida where I hope I don’t get wiped out by a tsunami yet also how amazing would it be to take Portland out...let me contemplate which energy I wish to release into the world.
The undular bore effect of the Atlantic continental shelf (*most likely*) means any tsunami would loose most its power on the first break. Unless you are east of I-95 or in the Keys, this means you will be unaffected.

Whereas even a pop-up of large-scale and repeat seismic activity under Mt Hood could screw up Portland big time.

Cleanse. The term you are looking for is Cleanse Portland. Portland's already screwed up big time. It would take rivers of lava to wash off all of the human feces from the streets.

Even better, hit it with Pompeii-style ash and pyroclastic flows. Preserve it as a time capsule to warn the future.

Guys I gotta come clean it was a prank, it was in poor taste I'll admit it and the fireworks got outta control at some point, but I just wanted to make you lol. It's been hard coming clean about this but I hope you can forgive me.
