It was detected in Haiti/The Dominican Republic 2-3 weeks ago so Southern parts of the US may see a little. But I think it's also the season when we get that grey dust from oak trees.

This is distinct from that but who knows. if they say its in the air its probably in the air and what i am seeing.

Both vents spew anew

The smaller one is to the south we forecasted

Rumors of a 3rd vent are now deboonked officially

The volcano is nearing the second month of eruption on what was said pages back, so it might be slowly stopping. That said, the eruption and pics we got out of it is a pretty show. Shame about the people who lost their homes, though. Wonder where they went to.

Lots o' earthquakes, and is that a new vent?

AfarTV feed #2

Is the volcano cranky because I had Szechuan shrimp for dinner?

so how many people were displaced because of the eruptions?
even if the lava itself didnt hit residence, sulfur, smoke and ash probably made it hard to live in certain areas.

Scientists detect signs of depletion of magma inputs at greater depths. (Source)

In a interview, the spokeswoman for PEVOLCA explained that chemical composition of the plume, seismicity and deformation of the ground, point to the fact that the reservoirs of the volcano are getting smaller.

The emission of sulfur dioxide makes the air quality “very unfavorable “ in five municipalities and the authorities recommend the use of FPP2 masks and avoid outdoor activities. (Source)

Bushcraft is down by the sea today.
it sounds like the deep reservoir is starting to empty, and the gas emissions are down. So hopefully it may be past it’s peak.

When are you guys going to learn that La Palma ain't done yet?
It seems that you are right because the seismic activity has increased again this morning.

Bushcraft Bear speaks about the 5.4 magnitude earthquake he felt half an hour ago...
5.4 was the provisional magnitude registered, in the final measurement IGN have reduced the magnitude to 4.9, but anyway, the tremor has been noticed in the nearby islands. (Source)

The Spanish Navy invades to defeat the Volcano!
no really they are using landing craft to get the farmers into the areas cut off by Lava to salvage what they can. Also note the little putt putt landing craft is not the main Navy ship. It sounds like they have their Helicopter Carrier/assault ship off shore. The Spanish have one or two identical to the Aussie’s Canberra class. Which was built by Spain.
