How would these hypothetical pipe bomb assassins even target "people close to [Kurt]"? The only people close to him that we've even heard about and doxed are his wife and adult children, and with the exception of one or two of the children, they all live at the same address as Kurt.

And they are only close to him because they are stuck with him. I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend time with tentacle boy these days.
 
well I found his blubbering in part 8, 39 minutes in (albeit limited to the dialogue)

incidentally, whoever edited this could have shaved at least half an hour off the total running time if they'd taken out some of those interminable goddamn pauses
