That's the thing, the whole event could have been avoided by... not going on Tucker Carlson's show. He knew he was walking into an ambush and he thought he was clever enough to turn it around. He wasn't. Anyone clever enough to turn it around wouldn't go there in the first place, because it's stupid.

Going into an 'interview' with Tucker while holding opposing views is like a young woman taking a drink from Bill Cosby in his house or going into a hotel room with Harvey Weinstein... today, after their behavior is well known. Yeah, he may still be a creep, but you fucking knew it and put yourself there so maybe stop whining.

Because everyone knows that the first thing the agents of a foreign country's cyberterrorism unit do when they're confronted by a has-been journalist is admit everything in great detail.

Kurt's trying to turn his life into one of those "hero journalist" thriller novels and it's not even one of the good ones. More like if the "Left Behind" guys wrote one.
