I mean I watched because me and my wife had nothing better to do on the weekend, its okay. Lots of plot holes i think the only reason it did good was alot of the characters are at least likeable, and it well animated. Kpop really isn't my thing but i can see where that also carries alot of the movie if it is

OP, you gook simping aids faggot, you should kill yourself in real life.

I've seen your bitch made thread here and didn't care to comment, but since you've decided to gurgle gallons of jizz by featuring your gay thread, might as well drop by and drag my balls across your face.

I remember watching KPOP demon hunters while I was at the matcha 24k gold labubu crumbl cookie doechi and netspend rave in dubai. Would not reccommend

Hollywood is going to learn all the wrong lessons from K-pop demon hunters. It appeals to straight men and boys for the same reason as Sailor Moon did. The girls are not fat or ugly. Unlike twitter and tumblr may say. Straight women and gay men don’t like to see fat and ugly people on screen. Yes. Superheroes with dad bods and fugly women playing a role in superhero movies decline.

I watched it. Its genuinely a fun and enjoyable movie and the songs are really good. People should just relax a little and enjoy fun media more, I think. Of all the stuff thats getting put out right now for younger audiences this is definitely more fun and enjoyable with a better message than most of it.

The weird low framerate thing makes it look like a Switch game that's having performance issues. Kpop seems like a psyop to me.

But, hey. An American animated movie where the girls are all conventionally attractive. That's something, I guess. We should get a prequel where it shows what the girls looked like before they got the white girl eye surgery.

Glad someone made a thread to shit on this slop.

Talked in details about it in the Western Animation thread, if you're interested: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/western-animation.8497/post-22148271

(My main points were cringe anime pandering, cringy qUiRkY side characters and punchable male characters. Also, the film is just very mid plot wise)

While browsing youtube, I found an exact target audience for the film (yes, it is the Hazbin Hotel crying lady):

It was meh, slop, but enjoyable. Feels like most of the music was BLACKPINK styled which I can barely get into. Like another anon said, I'm sick of how it turned out but I was more into Wonder Girls as a child. Now if I do listen to Korean stuff, it's mostly generation one slop like S#arp
How long is his Korean fever going to last? How did America let Korea steal all Thier 90s boy/girl band culture and resell it back to them? Now we have over a decade of Korean femboy NSYNC clones and the younger generations think the cultureless Koreans invented it and the young white girls are simping for bugmen in lipgloss.
It's kind of dying. BTS and BLACKPINK are 90% of the western audience, without them most of them don't listen to others. Most Koreans don't listen to idol music and some are actively resenting it because it brings in all of the Koreaboos.

I watched this movie the other day. It's a cute, silly, harmless animated movie with a couple of catchy stupid pop tunes. Nothing to flip out about, but I'm not the fandom-joining type. I am kind of looking forward to seeing the inevitable alt-covers of songs like "Golden" and "Soda Pop" that weirdos on YouTube will eventually be crafting.

Well, on top of making the characters conventionally attractive they also didn't go down the "subvert expectations" route and make everyone gay, turn the leads into insufferable girl bosses, or try and fuck with the overall heroes journey. We've basically horseshoed around to where a derivative streaming movie is something new and refreshing because its not trying to be anything else but.

When you consider the absolute trash Disney has been pumping out for the last 10 years, its pretty obvious why this landed.

It’s funny to be able to tell how many people have a lot of shit to say about this movie despite knowing nothing about it by how much retarded culture war baggage they bring with them. No, the movie’s not gay. No, the movie isn’t about transitioning. No, the movie isn’t 90% silly faces despite the /tv/ webms that get passed around. If you want to hate it, hate it for real reasons, like the frames per second, for example.

Nigger, you didn’t see anything happening. You’re a legit sped who wants to talk about chink cartoons.
