For anybody interested, I am writing this through Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) with my VPN set to Sweden. Yesterday I was using Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and my VPN in the Americas but today it started timing out so I switched.

ProtonVPN seems to be having issues, probably filtering related because I'm accessing through another VPN while still using Proton as the first hop. The Proton connection fails to connect (even with custom DNS) while the secondary VPN is connecting fine.

Possibly the DDoSer is using it as a vector, or possibly so many people use it that it just looks like a DDoS.

Either way if you're having trouble with it try another.

Managed to get in, had no issues with the password reset. It was very surreal watching the site get hacked in real time while I was logged out, acted like you needed to register to see anything after all that deleting. I wonder what that image that replaced one of the images in the country flag thread was exactly since I remember it was different from the avatar replacements.

It was different for some people. I saw some dumb phone screenshot of a lot of furry and bdsm groups in a chat. Seemed like the image came from howler considering the filename. I think others were seeing some 4chan meme or something.
Quite interesting for someone to talk about their favorite flag and you seeing some furry faggot shit. I wouldn't want to waive that around even if you paid me.

Site is running really slow on .net, but it was running slow before the hack too.

Today, we’re announcing the open beta of Turnstile, an invisible alternative to CAPTCHA. Anyone, anywhere on the Internet, who wants to replace CAPTCHA on their site will be able to call a simple API, without having to be a Cloudflare customer or sending traffic through the Cloudflare global network. Sign up here for free.

Cloudflare welcomes back Joshua Conner Moon with open arms and a new anti-CAPTCHA. Not a Trojan Horse.

When on mobile I see the DDOS guard more than the site itself. I can't even make longer comments on mobile because I have to refresh.

Just Odd things. Last night, I could log on easily and changed my password. page loads slow, I see the DDoS page all the time. Cannot log in at all today (the times I tried) I tried with TOR got right in, however, I do see DDoS on the page all the time.. and when I have to do a captcha. it's about 15 different things.. I am not complaining, but just mentioning.

I appreciate you Josh and the hard work you are putting in on this...and for what I know. I may be the one causing problems? I did dump cache and I use a VPN BUT, I am keeping the faith.

P.S. Just had to refresh, got the DDos page again.. I also get Forbidden 409(?) Moves really slow.

Slowly been speeding up. I haven't seen the DDoS page for a bit. It definitely isn't normal fast but I'm just glad we are back.

I had to do the same thing. It's working fine on Privado, though.

They're now targeting intovps and hosterion (image won't upload but can be found on /snow/ ), so who knows how much that will disrupt things.

Site's got slow page loading, sticker giving, and posting, but it's been consistently on this entire time. Thanks Jersh. :)

Have you tried setting DNS to something else like Google's or Clownflare's? You should be able to do this on Android or iOS. (There are Google-able guides.)

Running the site on vanilla, no networking hoodoo involved, and it's mostly fine.

Getting a couple of small errors:

Large pictures are only part loading for me.
The video on the front page keeps throwing a "Video playback aborted due to a network error" up - which slghtly puzzles me because I've not tried to play it at all.

.net is slow but stable. New moment on tor, I didn't experience this before

This persisted for some time and changed to

Trying to log on TOR, but I'm getting the "Try again later" from the reCAPTCHA.

EDIT: Managed to get onto TOR, but it's a little slower for me. Smileys seem to load, though, and I imagine posting images is the same thing.
