Right after I got all excited about being able to use the .st link, it stopped working and I had to go back to Tor again. I figure things are just wonky at the minute though.

Btw, >Diamwall
Looks like that's a Portuguese company. If they stick around and they end up being KF's official DDoS protection, that would be the third time Portugual dabs on Ralph.

I did get a 405 Not Allowed error when trying to add an image to this post, but hey, we're finally back up!

.net 's DDoS filter is broken in Firefox, but is fine with Chromium-based browsers, apparently. Using Vivaldi to test post this on .net.

I literally posted the screengrab of Brave's Tor browser rejecting not only my access to the previous .onion address but also the KiwiFarms Telegram. I posted screengrabs of both, I substantiated it for myself.
I didn't see the KF Onion one, and I'm not looking for it on a slow tor connection. Really hard to judge KF onion issues since the site has been going up and down to be honest.

As for Telegram, this picture shows Brave saving you from doxing yourself. If you look at the URL bar, the URL was rewritten from https://t.me/kiwifarms to tg://resolve?domain=kiwifarms, which was trying to find and open in your local telegram client. That would have started a connection on the clearnet, which would have been bad.

Now, I'm not sure if it's Tor or Brave or Telegram that attempted to redirect to the tg:// link.if that's a Brave exclusive feature then I'd say that's probably them trying to implement something cutesy convenient in their main browser and they forget to turn it off for tor mode. But, given that the browser was for one reason or another trying to downgrade you from a tor connection to a clearnet connection, that block was a good thing.

I believe that you can't access the telegram, I get the same error when I forget the s/ in the URL and I have seen the error myself. I just don't think it's Brave trying to block KF when there's a valid security explanation for this behavior.

E: I just remembered that linking to a specific domain is dumb considering current events. I hope This link to the image works better. I don't know how to make a domain agnostic link but it's page 72, post 1437 of the endless beating drum thread. Assuming no hidden posts or anything.

I’m just getting a kick out of the fact that this website war is basically an angry mob that’s deeply embedded into the mainstream tech industry vs. one dude with no formal training.

@Null should we stop auto-sending BAT to Kiwifarms.net or is it safe?
My best bet would be yes considering Null has little to no ownership over that domain anymore. From one user to another, I'd recommend you just hold onto it for now and wait until hosting is more stable.
I think he still owns .net but the question is if he bạn meaningfully use it in the imminent future. Sounds like the site is back up there, but I hesitate to cheer yet.

AFAIK the podcast is still safe because he's deliberately ensured kept a wall between it and the forums; beyond in the patch thread even asked for a batch that includes T&H and he said he can't sell actual forum things there.

So, it might be possible to contribute to the podcast site. Admittedly the site is probably down but in terms of ownership it should be more stable.

Just know that podcast money goes to his weekly pizzas instead of hardware upgrades, but honestly, after all this? Null deserves a cheat day.

Seems like .net is working for me but it's little wonky. I had adblocker on but it didn't filter me out. (I use Firefox)

Weird, .net is working fine less unstable in Firefox right now. (At least, for now.) Didn't have to Ctrl+F5 every page last few times I browsed. Posting is sporadic, however. (Posted via .st on Firefox)
