We're not allowed to say "stickers" anymore it's become a legal problem. So in 2025 I ask that you all use a different word. I don't care what it is, as long as you all use something else. Here are some examples.

  • Dopamine token
  • Goodboy point
  • Cookie
  • Sunshining
  • Updoot*

*this is the word Elliot No Dong literally uses when giving someone karma on linked in or something
 
I love how after the sticker notifications got brought back like 10 new accounts showed up to spam stickers, and the subsequent fallout is a masterpiece.
 
I definitely think we should have stickers here, but I don't care about getting notifications. All my posts are gold anyway.
 
I remember getting a bunch of alerts yesterday and thought one of my posts got quoted a lot, I was actaully excited to read and maybe reply to some people back... but it was just a bunch of "some guy reacted your post with a funny sticker, good job!"

I immeditately turned those off because I just found them annoying.

I just find it funny because I had a thought maybe a day or two ago being like "You know, I kinda like it better without stickers. I was die hard pro-sticker at first, but now I'm coming around to it. Watch Null change it back like tomorrow lol."

I'm fucking clairvoyant.
 
The funniest thing about reaction notifications is how seriously some people take their stickers.

It will never not be funny to throw a trashcan on a newer user's post and have them sperg out in your DM's or on your profile page demanding to know why you called their post dumb.

And this is exactly why sticker notifs will make this site great again
 
I just think without stickers people might shit up threads to tell people to fuck off when they could just negrate them and be satisfied.
