It's valid to hate the French when you bring up how so much of their philosophers were pedophiles and called for pedophilia legalization. The whole Charlie Kirk grave dancing stuff. It's probably the most "safe edgy" the left has been in a hot minute, and they're sure reveling in it with that whole "We Are Charlie Kirk" meme going around. Yada, yada, "they want you dead and they'll think it's funny", yada yada.

Oh, but dare do the same toward a minority and suddenly it's a hate crime. I'm not one to ever grave dance someone's death but the double standards are, as always, obvious from the group.

I'm genuinely starting to develop a huge fatigue for these memes too, society is pretty fucked nowadays and it makes me try to stay away from most social media websites as much as possible.

I find it ironic how 9/11 evolved from edgy to safe edgy. Like maybe not as edgy as saying nigger but people would actually get offended by it as late as 2010 or so. I know I know, completely different times and context.

I think school shootings became safe edgy once but now I never see pumped up kicks jokes anymore. Maybe its because shootings overall have just accelerated the past few years.
