Unfortunately for my nigga Mario I have no choice but to submit to the GOAT. My nigga Todd Howard made the best game of all time on his first time as a director (instantly washed up after this, oblivion sucks, fallout 3 is boring as fuck, skyrim is slopkino, fallout 4 is retarded and starfield(lol))

I gotta give it to Mario 64 for being pure fun through the whole game. No shopping, no bedtime assassins, no cliff racers, no inefficient level ups. You don't have to put up with much bullshit, you can just play the game.

Because the only requirement was listing a real game.
For the record, Prostitute Maker is a real game

That's really surprising actually. I'd assumed that the vote would be way more one sided, given that Halo 3 is one of the most beloved games of all time.
Oh well, C'est la vie.
I really thought NMH had it but normallfaggotry triumphed. Sorry for your loss.

I'm proud NMH came so close to beating Halo 3; real David and Goliath scenario.

Saints Row 3 and SM64 easily take today's vote for me. I like Saints Row 4 better because it's the best Crackdown game never made, but 3 was the peak of the series in terms of narrative.

My vote goes for....

1000 hours in MS paint for a joke 5 people will read.
I was hoping for something a little more lighthearted, this looks scary...

The camera is a bitch and the controls are heavy and clunky, but it's still extremely playable and tons of fun. It's packed with 90's charm and that Nintendo magic, ain't no way it can lose to some shitty PC game.

Its funny. Saints Row often gets labeled as a poor man's GTA, or a bawdy, goofy game because you do so many weird things in it, but the series really did have a very strong narrative binding. Even going back to 2, the cutscenes were full of character, resonant, and impactful. The scene where Johnny buries the Ronin kid alive, for example, is an all time scene for me. I dont know what the fuck happened at Volition, but at one time they had a very talented team when it came to world building and characterization. Even the Red Faction games had charm, despite middling gameplay. Anyway. Pour one out for Volition, I miss what they once were.

The one that always sticks out to me is in Saints Row 2 where you put the Lucha Libre villain's girlfriend inside the trunk of a car and trick him into running over her with a monster truck. It's wild seeing how they went from that to the 'so....that just happened' writing in the failed reboot that ultimately killed the studio. RIP in piss.

P.S. Red Faction: Armageddon was great and I will not be convinced otherwise.
