Warcraft 3 vs. Doom 2 is downright devious. The GOAT of RTS vs the GOAT of FPS.
I have to give it to WC3, Doom 2 was before my time. WC3 was my formative game, I vividly remember playing it on my Dad's computer right around the same time I was learning to read as a wee child.

Every day I'm reminded how fucking old I am relative to the average internet user.

Anyway, I've gotta agree, WC3 may be the best RTS ever made. Doom 2 was incredible and it's still fun, but its age has been apparent for 20 years. It may have walked so we could run, but WC3 still laps the competition nearly a quarter century later.

Note: I am assuming TFT is included in this choice, because WC3 without its expansion is like a burger without a bun.
 
Under any other circumstances I would have done it for Billy, but my heart will always belong to the 3rd Street Saints.
 
I dislike saints row because it was the gay brainchild of a THQ exec who acquired volition to enact it under the false promise they would get to continue working on freespace (for more than just the 2nd game that was already in work at the time, and which had far more artistic and conceptual merit than saints row ever achieved0

Donkey Kong is a classic and all, but there isn't a power up that lets you blast Donkey Kong with a pimp cane shotgun. If it had been SR2 vs Donkey Kong Country, that would've been a different story.

Picking between Doom II and Warcraft 3 is brutal, but I'd go WC3. If it had been Quake, it would have taken it easily.

A vote against Donkey Kong is a vote for the tranny speedrunners and a vote for any Blizzard game is an implicit vote for breast milk theft and ferret rape.
 
I have a dilemma concerning WC3: Should i vote in consideration of the fun I had with it or vote with the reminder of what it eventually led to (WoW) ? At least it was easy for me to vote for Saint Rows 2 over Donkey Kong, i simply had more fun with it

It's better this way, seeing 20000 votes for the goyslop everytime you posted was making the vote pretty obvious as to what was going to win.

With how the results are right now, I don't think Dark Souls and GTA IV will win next round. I'm still voting for them but I have a bad feeling the votes from here on out will be spite-voting.
