Didn't even try it, nor will I, it's a very boring looking, basic ass card game. I'm sure it's good for what it is, but what it is can't be as good as Kingdom Hearts II.

The first two are very good. An argument can be made for Chain of Memories, but at the very least those two are good. The rest kinda suck, I had to force myself through most of them and eventually just stopped doing that.

That's a shame because its really fun. Missing out.
It can be a bit hard to explain but its basically a rougelike mixed with Poker. But its hardly like what you may be thinking of, it is not like Solitaire at all.
The Steam tag for rougelike has a good selection of games typically considered part of the genre if you aren't aware. Its a pretty new genre to become popular, all things considered.
I would say its more fun then Kingdom Hearts 2, but I never really liked the Kingdom Hearts games so I am biased.

I guess if there's a demo I might try it just out of curiosity, I'm pretty shallow though. Art style and music are as important to me as anything else, and Balatro seems woefully lacking in those departments, at least to my taste.

Have you tried Kingdom Hearts 2? While it's advisable to play KH1 (and I guess CoM), the story is kinda nonsense anyway, so you can just skim some YouTube videos or summaries and jump into it. It's the best in the series.

The art style has its own charm to me at least. At the very least, it works very well in the game.
It has effectively 1 music track that plays on loop (with different variations) throughout the game. I honestly enjoy it on its own but once again it works really well in the game.

I have. Didn't get into it at all, even after a few hours of playing. But I'm also not the biggest RPG fan out there, I'm very picky about the ones that I play.

On the 2015 GameFaqs bracket, Deus Ex was beaten out early on by Final Fantasy IV, believe it or not.
 
It would definitely help if you all could spread the word about this bracket. The bigger sample size of voters I can get, the better.
 
I'll have to pick halo 2 over chrono trigger. I was literally addicted to that shit as a teenager. Only true chads could properly double shot and BXR. Plus the countless hours I spent fucking around in campaign missions to go out of bounds. I played chrono trigger until I got to the prehistoric part, my hard drive crapped out and I didn't feel like playing all the way there again. It was fun for the time I had with it though.

Between deus ex and terraria- Deus ex is still the king of immersive RPGs. The setting, lore, music, gameplay, all just fits so well. You immediately get hooked from the minute you boot the game. Terraria doesn't have that same feeling, you're just plopped into a random world and have to either figure things out or consult a guide.

All 4 are great games, wonder what's gonna be next. :D
