Metroid Prime, that's an insanely fucking easy choice, who gives a shit about some computer slop. Metroid Prime has graphics that still look good and a great art direction, perfect music, and if you count it as an FPS then it's the best in its genre.
Agree. Prime for sure.

Butcher bay was so good but Prime is kino.

Making me choose between Metroid Prime and AoE2 is like asking which of my sons I want to die. Not fair at all, but such is the nature of these polls.

I voted for Prime, because it felt fucking magical booting that up on my Gamecube back in 2002. But boy did it hurt.

The other one was much easier because Peggle is gay, it has "peg" in the title and that implies a man getting fucked in the ass (I know nothing about what Peggle is)

If graphics never evolved beyond gen 6 I wouldn't complain. Peak graphics back then still look good today. Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy X, Wind Waker, etc. They have actual visual identity, which is missing from most everything now.

Peggle still holds up more than 18 years later, and its port to consoles was literally a match made in heaven. Peggle Nights had some really groovy music, though I didn't play that as much as the original.

Ehh. It really depends on execution. Nintendo really did nail it with 6th and (arguably) 7th gen. Most of their games from that time are visually timeless. A lot of games from other developers from the same time period don't hold up anywhere as near as well now.

Yeah, you gotta cherry pick to find the good stuff, but that's what I mean, at its peak (like what that generation was capable of) it was perfectly good. 7th gen for Nintendo in particular was just refinement and that worked out really well for their games visually, though their output was very gimmicky then.

Red and Blue is pathetically easy, and has plenty of problems. But it’s impossible to not have fun with.
My two core memories of playing Pokemon Red were getting soft-locked in the blackout cave because I didn't know you needed an ability, and wasting my master ball to catch Articuno then spending hours trying to catch Mewtwo with a regular one. Good times.

Easy layup for me, today. Metroid Prime is my favourite game ever, and I've never played the Riddick games but I remember Penny Arcade going nuts for this one because it was the first good movie tie-in game where you didn't have to add the caveat 'for a movie tie-in game'.

You can navigate the tunnel blind, I do it whenever I play because I know the tunnel's layout by memory and don't need Flash. Funny Master Ball story though lol

That is what I ended up doing, kind of. My brother got a copy of Blue when I got Red, and he actually paid attention to things so he had Flash and sat next to me and told me what directions to go til I got out.

PEGGLE IS THE QUINTESENTIAL WHITE MAN GAME,
A VOTE FOR REDDITCK IS A VOTE FOR COMMUNIST NEGRO COMPUTER GODS
