Fuck it, I've come around to the Jer slop. Him mis-pronouncing the simplest of words really tickles me. If they can bring his section of the stream down to a couple of hours I'll be happy.
It's not broken, it's always worked exactly how YouTube intended it to, which is to assume guilt automatically and shift the burden of sorting shit out onto the aggrieved parties so Google is completely safe from any blowback.
It's the same reason the DMCA will probably never change, because the only people with the power to change it are the ones profiting from how it already works.

I'm honestly surprised it took this long for Kino Cathedral to go down. I figured it was done for as soon as they started posting previews on it. It's kind of funny that it may not have been Quartering that did it, since now what Null said would happen is happening. That if someone else gets Kino Casino or anything critical of Quarter pounder taken down, Quarter pounder is blamed by default.
Last week during a Chrissy segment Andy was playing Redbar’s take down of her years ago. Apparently PPP had never seen Redbar!? Andy, shocked starts babbling how he listened to every Redbar show when he drove uber. Andy appalled PPP doesn’t know Redbar, without realizing that was a big bonus for him.
PPP notices his use of soundboard…clapping…it’s dawning on him that Andy’s entire online persona is just poorly imitating Redbar. He had actually thought Andy had some ingenuity. Andy appropriated all the Redbar gimmicks, zero of the wit and substance. I don’t think PPP had any idea until that moment.

From what I remember, no. Ash was at least somewhat aware Red bar because Andy has talked about it with him for a while, I mostly remember that because at one point he does make fun of Andy for using their gimmicks too often. Now admittedly it might have been the case of him not realizing just how badly he copies from them, but I think this one's just gilding the Lily.
I wish someone would pull Warski to the side and tell him that not everything needs to be "the funniest thing ever" and that maniacally forcing out a laugh at every joke PPP tells isn't required for an audience to be entertained. That 1940's news anchor talking about fast food bit was terrible and PPP even said as much but you'da thought Richard Pryor was resurrected on the spot with how batshit insane Andy was acting. Take it down a fucking notch bud, hoooly.
