the quartering stuff the last week or so has been the first time i've watched the casino in years, probably since the godwinson dust up and it's so loud and obnoxious as to be insufferable. I used to watch PPP's old stuff which i find highly preferable to all the yelling and warski's interjections. in the early days, ashton used to be visibly aggravated when warski would burst in with some irrelevant remark, but now he just sits and takes it. makes me curious about how godwinson said that warski is the owner of the channel and ashton was essentially at his mercy.

Ashton is at Andy’s mercy on OBS alone. Neither would be making any money on streaming without each other. If either one did decide to move on from KC for another show, they’d be broke as fuck in a month and would never reach the heights they have with their current setup,

Doesn’t matter who a possible co-host would be for either of them if they moved on, they wouldn’t survive. Their chemistry, gimmick and content is strange enough for it to work and it’s a once in a lifetime thing.

With that said, the current KC is like modern, zombie Simpsons compared to the first two years of KC.


*edit- As I previously stated in this thread, the biggest negative decision they made was to make a three day a week schedule. When they streamed once or twice a week on Fridays/Saturdays, it allowed the show to have natural flowing content with a myriad of jokers and randos.

Forcing kino three days a week is where the show has gotten derailed. Also, co-opting normie shit will hurt them in the long run. Short term gains for long term pains.

Not something people seem to bring up much, but you're correct. Part of problem with the modern Casino is changing their focus to content that will do well on the clip channel. One could argue that they do this to drive traffic to the live stream. But just based on anecdotal evidence, people who start on the clip channel and try watching live either stop watching completely or go back to just watching on the clip channel. And I'm sure they know that.

Agreed on all points over the last page, especially @Balldo's Gate, your calculation is pretty much the same as mine, and of course, is even higher applying the currency conversion as it's paid in dollars, not CAD. They're basically using Flaked to get a better yield. If the channel were put in Canada, it would have the 30% tax applied. You're on Andy's crack if you don't think for a second they're dipping their paws into over $100k.

Older PPP is kinda depressing, honestly. The more and more I see him on Kino, the less of the person he is. Even his verbage has changed; around Null, he is a lot better, but the show is a zombie now.

He was never genuine. Ever. His old videos were just his foray into the sektur and that is pretty much it. He had to build a following somehow and the anti grift movement was what stuck. If he hadn’t gained the noteriatry from the sektur by fighting the likes of Fuentes, Dax and Jim, he would have morphed his online persona into something else.

Once he found a viable avenue to actually get the money he wanted, he changed his colors like a chameleon. It’s classic sociopath behavior. He holds no real values outside of his own desires and, to be quite honest, I think he’s more or less a rabid atheist, or at best, agnostic.

His Christian/church larp stems solely on his upbringing and it was well ingrained. He uses it to justify deep rooted socio political beliefs, as so many Wignats do, without actually adhering to any of it. I grew up the same way and know exactly the kind of shit he went through.

That’s how I see it, anyway.

He’s been phoning it for a long ass time. He said on one show last year that he dreads the stream days because he doesn’t like doing it at all.

He admitted that on the stream as they’re getting cash pouring into them. The faggot is a slave to every appetite that a human can have. He worships cash, food and his kink of humiliation.

He would be a tragic figure if he wasn’t so loathsome.

My understanding is that 50-100k isnt that crazy of a salary for a youtube editor of a sizable channel. I mean 50k is basically an average salary anyways.
I could see them at least doing something like splitting 50k to themselves and 50k to flaked. Now would they give him all 100k? Who knows. But the clip channel was driving views to their kick so it was useful for that.
Them setting up the patreon also seems like a way for flaked to keep making a living clipping their stuff.

Perry has always seemed to be a fellow who loves to hold onto grudges. I personally find his insights / comments to be fair to middling anyways -- just another guy with an opinion posting online.
