Nope; collecting this shit is a blatant scam and a bubble pushed by scalpers, like it was and is for comics, sports cards, and anything else speculators choose to shit up because people know what that is. I do not believe that a game as mass produced as Chrono Trigger is genuinely twice the price of a new console, because there's just too many of them for it to be that. It's as fucking nonsense as claiming the Mario Bros NES cartridge was 500 bucks, or a copy of Pokemon Red is hundreds.

It also doesn't help that "assessment" groups get a paycheck and are incentivized to bullshit their scores, which has been seen particularly with video games. This is because they often collude with auction houses and ringers they hire on as fake buyers to artificially boost these prices. It's a racket that's older than time, and hell, at least one of them was run by a dude who got fucked for insider dealing in the 80s and 90s.

Andy doing this to affirm he's a true gaymer as a replacement for a personality and to one up an autistic manchild who sucks at games is a moron for this, especially since it just takes the bubble bursting to eat shit and SUFFAH like it does with the other shit mongs collect.

Also to complement the boys, kudos for making a show that wasn't full of Pigroach. I await the weeks it'll take to get on clips.

If it's still in the original packaging like Andy has I'm not surprised it's well over the retail price of a brand new NES cartridge. I remember buying Super Mario 3 on NES for 80$AUD back in the day, inflation alone takes that to 200$AUD+ I'd guess.(AUD is about 0.70$US currently and back in the day I think it was closer to 0.80$ US)
My grandfather collected antiques and coins throughout his life and they were worth shitloads when he passed. Not saying it's a good investment but there is a special feeling you get from having a brand new game in it's original package if you grew up with it, I'd be surprised if he got less than 50% back if he needed to sell but for Andy I think he just likes having the game in his possession and don't think it's a big deal.

I am starting to understand the Tardski hate a little more now. Somebody mentioned recently that it seems like he is on some kind of stimulant, whether legal or not. I think this may be the case after listening to Monday's show. I know he is always a little over the top for the sake of entertainment, but it seems like he is turned up to 11 now and it is getting annoying.

He has a youtube channel with 15-20 full length streams and an archive channel with old stuff. That should definitely be enough to come to a conclusion on whether or not you like his content. I don't get why people are so against paying for internet content when it's fairly well produced and Podawful actually does stuff unlike the Casino. I understand that reading Kiwifarms is a highly sought after job these days, but catfishing internet autists until they develop even more mental issues and turn gay is a lot funnier.

It's that or he tries to compensate for his 0 contribution to the show by being "the hype guy" which is basically dangling keys in front of retards.
Personally I think it's some prescribed stimulants so he's "sober" like Ralph. You can tell because sometimes he's able to control himself and the shows are pretty good.

I'll be honest, the Monday show was the first in a while that I mostly skipped. Everything up to the Baked segment was fine, but for some reason Baked has so much "go away" heat that I can't even enjoy it. Hopefully PPP isn't gilding the lily too much.

Baked isn't really funny because he is pretty sad these days. The documentary was ok but nothing we haven't seen a million times. Also too much pausing and constant Warski sperging.

To me, there is a Gregg "Opie" Hughes quality that Andy has been showing where he feels like he has to pipe up sometimes to prove his worth to the show, and much like Opie, the "sometimes" is almost always when it is not needed or necessary.

Morrow segment was something calmer and I just have never seen a pure manchild consumerism person before till Mr. Morrow. Like there is people out there with same voting power as you buying 20 dollar smores pack that has a two cookies and a big marshmallow :story:

Also mr.morrow excitement for a mcdonalds being nearby and choice of mcnuggies is so on the nose.
