The problem is the subs tab has become unusable. I am subscribed to almost 2000 channels and youtube has provided no tools to filter through them, because they want to funnel you to recommendations. All they would need to do to remedy this issue is let me sort my subs by tag. Tardski is probably correct, but it's not because recommendations are good, it's because youtube is dysfunctional shit.

Sure, some of their best shows are showcasing small time shit like the food reviewers and other weird autists on YouTube. The iDubbz, H3H3 and Hasan shit, mixed with Phil and RTU is just dead as fuck, IMO.

But again, if that’s what is keeping them in the green, so be it. I’ll come back when it’s better.

  1. DSP in the 2000s through to early/mid 2010s was a much more openly abrasive and obnoxious person who rubbed a lot of people the wrong way at the time, look at his attitude in the This Is How You Don't Play videos of MGS2 and 3 for instance and people hated him not just for his shitty gameplay but his personality and attitude. So if you wanted to show someone why to hate DSP, you would show him a TIHYDP and laugh at his bad gameplay and obnoxious personality. There were so many TIHYDP videos that people started obsessing over this guy and everything he played and said.
  2. He was one of the earliest gaming let's play youtuber so there were less competition for hate watching in the space at the time. Let's plays were also more novel back then rather than now when they're played out.
  3. He used to be very open with his personal life so people could find out more details about his real life.
  4. As for why he's boring now, he's much more meek and pathetic now since becoming a streamer and begging, years and years of being the internet's punching bag means he's trying to present himself as a positive person. He uses guides so he doesn't look so terrible at games. So when Kino Casino come in and are like "why are people so obsessed with him, he's just a boring guy who begs" its not as clear cut as to why and there's tons of lore to explain, so you can have the satisfaction of knowing why people hate this guy. And since DSP has been around for such a long time there's been several different generations this lore about him. There's the FGC era getting alogged IRL by other FGC champions, Let's play era getting alogged for his gameplay, and streaming era getting. So you have different styles of alogs and detractors

If there’s money for him in it from retards on YouTube or later on or wherever, great. But, the Casino isn’t going to hire him full time for this shit. They throw him a pittance, from what I understand.

What a complete retard. I had assumed this dude had a job/career and just occasionally made ai music videos as shitposts, the idea that he thought this was a way to "make a living" seems deranged. Maybe if you get lucky with something like that you can make some booze money from it.

Also why does he feel the need to write a long essay about how he needs to make different content, just create a new email/youtube account and start making "normie" ai videos if you think that is your ticket to riches (its not btw but good luck, dumbass).
